  1. I dont know where they relationship thread went that i posted about this girl who i hung out with damn near every day and was madly in love with her but she just wanted to be best friends....well anyway since the last time i seen her the sox are 26-6 before when we were hangin everyday 24-32....she wants to hang out tomorrow cause its my birthday but she seems to be bad luck, i dont think i wanna see her till the sox are crowned champs hah
  2. QUOTE (ScottyDo @ Jul 10, 2010 -> 11:14 AM) I want exactly one thing for my birthday, and that's for the Sox to be in first place. Make it happen. I want the same thing so they got 2 days to do it
  3. QUOTE (hitlesswonder @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 09:31 AM) Even if he isn't a complete player, he is an elite-level shooter. The Bulls have enough players with multiple mediocre skills. If you look at what the Bulls can do at an above average level, right now they have Rose's ability to penetrate at an elite level and Deng/Noah's above average rebounding. If they want to put together something excellent they need a stone-cold shooter like Morrow. If Thibs is a decent coach he should be able to hide whatever Morrow's game lacks in other phases. I've read about 20 pages of this and i think this is the best post of em all or at least the one i agree with the most. and you cant forget about the above average rebounding of Boozer now too, along with Taj comin off the bench were gonna have 4 of the top 50 rebounders in the NBA last year Boozer 6th, Noah 7th, Gibson 44th, and Deng 46th. Only Portland (2,30,34,35) can say the same but 2 of those guys cant stay healthy plus offensively Noah>Camby,Prizzy and at this point about equal to Oden, Boozer>Aldridge. With a D minded coach in Thibs the bulls are gonna be tough to score against. If you add Morrow or Korver to stretch the defense this team is gonna be at least a 3 sead in the east and is going to do some damage in the playoffs
  4. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 02:34 PM) A strikeout machine. soxtalk got my hopes up twice....i went on here and it said no hits through 7 so i told my bro we had to go watch the sox games, no questions asked...turns out they have 2 hits....then biggy here got my hopes up thinkin hes got a ton of Ks and he only has 5 lol.......still looks like a dominating performance
  5. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 08:10 PM) Lillibieber? this is the one i will forever use ...nice, i laughed
  6. L 7.0 7 2 2 0 2 6 thats his line from the game against us 2 weeks ago, sox are a better team then they were 2 weeks ago so i expect them to put up more today my guess 6-2 Sox.
  7. QUOTE (JohnCangelosi @ Jun 25, 2010 -> 06:18 PM) Born in 1972. I'm 38. That's an old timer?!?!?!!??!?!?!?! :-) P.S. My girlfriend is 20, so if I am an old timer give this old timer a BIT of credit!! :-P mad props
  8. ...i wish omar wasnt old...
  9. QUOTE (docsox24 @ Jun 21, 2010 -> 10:51 AM) why would you even want him in your plans I said this at the beginning of this year and its showed not to be a dumb statement, I love Omar in the 2 hole and wish he could stay there the rest of the way. If Dayans/Morels not ready id actually prefer Omar over Teahen (with the way mark was swinging the bat this year). When does Mark come back??? if its before the deadline any chance we see him dealt?
  10. realistically i'd love to see Laroche or Luke Scott. What I would love to see is them giving Hudson a start or 2 to kinda judge whether or not the can send say a Gavin Floyd for Dunn or Fielder. Or another name thats mentioned on here a lot is Kila Ka'aihue and i might even give up flowers to get him.
  11. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 19, 2010 -> 05:59 PM) Fix Quentin and Beckham and you've got a shot. Or replace Beckham with Viciedo somehow. Adding a DH would be nice, but it's not going to help if Quentin hits like Kotsay the rest of the year. put Dayan at 3rd and omar at 2b...I'm loving Omar in the 2 hole
  12. IMO this move is going to result in either Pk, andruw, or Q being moved soon.
  13. why didnt i get on here yesterday ....since i was the first to reply does that mean i get them next time you cant use you seats???
  14. no way Eibners there right?? if he is and we dont bounce on him ill will forever hate who we get at that pick

  17. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 7, 2010 -> 07:27 PM) Honestly, no idea right now. My wife is hoping they take Ross Wilson in the 5 round range, as she loved him on Two-a-Days not gonna take a step further into the thread....two a days was my favorite show while it was on, didnt know the guy played baseball, every white guy on the team looked like beckham lol.... read a few articles on Sale and he looks like if he stays healthy he'll be a stud and soon, one article even compared him to strasburg saying Sale will finish his junior season with almost the exact same junior K:BB ratio as Strasburg. I know the competition level isnt the same but thats gotta tell you something. Cape Cod MVP.
  18. sorry Strasburg....just went on mlb.com to see if i spelled it wrong and saw that the game already happened....still gonna watch it though
  19. Strasbergs last minor league game is on Vs. tonight at 6 o clock...I'm hopin they let him stay out there longer than they have been.
  20. taking this from the most recent santos article im gonna say throw sergio out there “The whole key to this thing was his instincts,” Bell said. “He really understands the game. This is one of the brighter baseball minds, for a kid, I’ve been around. You didn’t have to be a Rhodes scholar to see what kind of arm he has.”
  21. I wanna see juan pierre, brent lillibridge, and this kid have a home run derby at my local little league field....how ya got??
  22. QUOTE (chisoxfan09 @ May 1, 2010 -> 05:14 PM) What award does Pierre get?? Little League Silver Slugger award.
  23. is it too early to talk about the 2027 draft??
  24. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Apr 23, 2010 -> 10:16 PM) JJ Putz: Thank you Andrew Jones for saving my ass. via Twitter LOL. real talk?? hahaha
