Sox could still resign Jeff and go to work with Sale-Shark-Rodon-EJ-Danks with Fulmer potentially on the way. For Shark AND Q though, I would be disappointed with just Puig and a "middling prospect".

I would love that. For whatever reason I think Gresham is underrated in the league. Gase used a lot of 2 TE sets in Denver even with the 3 solid WRs he has had.

Ya, I think Puig and Barnes is more likely. Now if we're talking Sale, then you should get Puig and Seager. Which if you think Rodon and Fulmer are top of the rotation starters in 2 years, I would be open to that.

This is Danks 3rd scoreless outing this month. Of course in his other start he gave up a 6 spot....but that's just who he is.

The thing that gives me a shred of hope for Avi is that he doesn't really strike out all that much. If he can ever start elevating he will be fine. Perhaps if he starts trying to elevate it will result in more K's but that remains to be seen. Get a new hitting coach in here, make next year Avi's make or break year. Danks the last 2 years always seems to show up against good teams.

Robo would be the last to go. If they can pull off trades for major league (or near it) talent then they really should hold onto him. If the return is guys who won't help next year then actually be fine dealing him and grooming Montas for the spot. I still think they should be looking at Lester for Cespedes type deals with the pitching staff they have. Rodon should be better next year, EJ has looked fantastic in AAA, Fulmer should be a stud, Sale isn't going anywhere, and Jeff may be back if not another #2/3 type starter. If you can get a middle of the order bat or 2 for Q, and maybe add another piece or 2 in the off-season, that rotation could carry you.

I think the only reason they end up with a sub .500 record is due to a tough schedule. I'm guessing 6 or 7 wins. I think Fangio will get a lot out of these guys on defense. Really wish McDonald's wasn't't a turd because I would have really liked a Ratliff-Goldman-McDonald front. Think they would have been really tough to run on. That said I'm an Ego fan as well and think he wins the job over Jenkins. I expect to see a lot of good things this year. .500 woukdnt shock me one bit to be honest.

From Fangraphs.... Really want this kid somehow.... His minor league numbers look fantastic. Looks to me he's of the Jason Kendall/Russell Martin/////John Jason with D type mold. I think getting a catcher who could potentially hit 2nd if is on base tendencies continue up into the big leagues would be huge.

I would be estatic if they could get Joc, Seager, and Urias for Sale. Hell I would probably even do Joc, Seager, Barnes, and one of their other SP prospects....I'm super high on Barnes though.

I would wait till the off-season to potentially trade Q. Give EJ a look, see if he can be a solid 4/5. See if Fulmer is as far along as some think and can take the Rodon route to the bigs. If you can get Shark back and go with Sale-Shark-Rodon-EJ-Danks/Fulmer they could be in good shape if they hit on the Shark/Q trades.
