Personally I'm excited about him. If he can continue to keep his velocity late into games there is no reason he can't be a very very solid #3 with the potential for a few career years. Below are two spread sheets I made from the stats provided by baseball-reference. A couple of things to note; obviously Mark Buehrle didn't spend much time down in the minors and the rest spent over 450+ IP in the minors. Also Mark was the fastest to reach the majors at age 21 followed by Lester at age 22, Pettitte at 23 and Richard at 24. I hope he can learn the cutter from Coop and Mark if he can he will be lethal.

Jordan appears very good at baseball. i think his floor is a player similar to Coco Crisp if i had to choose a median for him i would say David Dejesus and for ceiling i would say Nick Markakis as his ceiling if the power develops and he can control the zone going forward

danks goes deep!!! what is everyone's opinion on his floor, median and ceiling?

So like I said took the trip down to west tenn. to watch the barons play, i had more video but for some reason my cx7 nerfed it, so i apologize. Also i thought i had packed my tripod and i apparently i didnt, so forgive the shakiness. A couple of thoughts about the barons Retherford is tiny. Flowers looked good behind the plate i didn't get a chance to see his arm but he was picking it a bit behind the dish, overall id give him a C/+. Pringles stadium is very nice. Congrats Jordan, get well soon Slayer. I love the fact that nearly all of our top prospects are in B-ham and growing and playing as one. I wouldn't mind seeing C.J. Retherford behind the dish seeing how we don't know if flowers is going to stick, his bat looks to play at the ML level no problem but we still need a strong internal catching prospect. As for the upcoming draft i hope we go for Brothers, Sanchez and Aaron Miller, would love to see KW and company infuse this great looking core with more polished talent that could conceivably be a year to 6months behind if not less.

If he could be anything close to Martin with the stick i would love to have him in our line up Martins Career Line .284/.374/ .426 .800

It appears there still might be a chance BA can still pan out, i would love for him to give us a Mike Cameron esk production till hes a FA on the Cheap. Also great to see Che starting to heat up and cook grand slams ala dennys
