Listening to the new side project of Saves the Day and Say Anything "Two Tongues" its exceptional, all though i feel that they should have brought on a better bass player like Saves The Days former bass player Eben D'Amico. Between D'Amico and Fugazi's Joe Lally that is where i cultivated my tone and style as a bassist.

The comps are based off what they'll produce as a line not taking into acount body type swing ecg

Also to add to that I'm looking forward to watching youth getting a chance and I'm very excited for how the future of this team could shake out. Going around the horn and cupboard here is what i think realistic comps for whats in the minors and at the ML level; ceiling wise. DH- Brandon Allen - Adam LaRoche with some speed and a bit more pop, maybe he will surprise and stick at first. C - Tyler Flowers - Joe Torre's bat with a chance to be a bit better than Piazza behind the dish 1B - Josh Fields - Dean Palmer, I'd love to see him stick at 3B but i foresee him on the other side of the diamond. 2B - Chris Getz - A LH Eric Young, possibly a bit more pop if the power is for real. SS - Alexei Ramirez - Adrian Beltre. 3B - Gordon Beckham - Chase Utley. LF - Dayan Viciedo - Carlos Lee CF - Jordan Danks - David Dejesus if the power never fully develops the converse of that is Fred Lynn if it does. RF - Carlos Quentin - CQ I would love to hear what other posters across the board think are legit major league comps for some of these players. Also i highly doubt all of these players pan out but those are the players i associate each with when i think of their ceilings

I for one am ok with the sox going with a quasi youth movement.

So this year 2009, I thought I would use it for the betterment of myself; So I made the following resolutions for myself. Speak Spanish at an intermediate level by the end of the year. Lose 50 pounds, I'm currently sitting at 269, I'm 6'4 as it stands though. For the Spanish speaking half I've gotten a hold of Michel Thomas Spanish CDs. I can honestly say this is the best way ive ever approached learning a new language and id strongly recommend his method to anyone looking to learn and speak a new language. Right now i've got his 8 cd set sitting on my ipod and i recently learned how to made full pdfs into albums on iphoto so i put the accompanying book on my ipod as well. for the weight loss, thats only a pound a week a for a year. I'll accomplish this by running again and and cutting pop and fast food out of my diet and cooking more meals myself, also i recently got the book eat this not that! its been pretty helpful.

PK to the angels for Morales and Mathis. After this years wbc we will get a glimpse into our future cuban 2B, and by 2011 we will have an all cuban infield. Morales ?? Ramirez Viciedo

Personally i find it hard to believe Inoa gets a b- and Viciendo gets a c+ and isn't held in a higher regard especially with the sox propensity lately for Cuban players.

link I would love for Kenny to step in here and offer Poreda and Egbert for Hermida, id be willing to give up a bit more if they're not that high on Egbert. a future outfield of Hermida, Danks, Quentin or Hermida Che Quentin or even Hermida Dickerson Quentin would be alot of fun to watch for the next 3+ years

Id love to see this be our opening day line up SS Furcal LF Dickerson RF Quentin DH Thome 1B Konerko CF Ramirez C AJP 3B Fields 2B Getz Getz and fields turn over the line up nicely, don't have alot of pressure on them and give this team a good amount of speed out of our 8 and 9 hitters.

would love to get Hermida from the marlins, hes reminds me of Carlos in the sense that he hasn't fully lived up to the hype and hes been hurt alot.

if its just bailey ill be disheartened, if dickerson or stubbs are along sign me up.
