Hahn on 670 Tonight
I wish I was coming back here for the first time in years for different news. Not going after Harper at all is just pathetic, and no reason really provided.

QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 4, 2015 -> 11:48 AM) Fair enough. I'd probably enjoy the whole 10 year anniversary thing a lot more if they actually didn't suck so much over the last 10 years. I'll let it go. You are fine now. I'm just saying ill be sick of it by june.

2015 Opening Day Thread

How do the White Sox stack up - payroll vs MLB
QUOTE (LDF @ Apr 4, 2015 -> 07:50 AM) yeah you are right about the bolded, look at how much the team is worth now.... they did great job to increase the value of the team. The widespread use of the DVR did that.

Official NHL 2014-15 Thread
Kane has turned himself into a pretty damn good two way player. Is he physical in his two way play? No, not at all. But he can stay on his skates and his work with the stick defensively is excellent. Maybe still not enough like harry said though.

Help! Pro baseball player search
QUOTE (Middle Buffalo @ Feb 7, 2015 -> 09:08 PM) Just make it up. Every paper I ever wrote had quotes and "facts" that I made up in it. My own personal Easter eggs. Say this guy had a "cup of coffee" with the St. Louis Browns after the war. Which war? Who cares? Done and done. You're welcome. lol.

All Star host selection to mimic Super Bowl
QUOTE (kev211 @ Feb 8, 2015 -> 08:21 AM) We're pretty much guaranteed one of the 100th all star game or the 100 year anniversary game. Why is that a guarantee? Why are the sox even a consideration?

Park Experience Changes?
I may have gone a little too far with that post.

Park Experience Changes?
I don't usually go to a game to get embarrassed by laughably bad corny s*** music, but that's just me. In fact, next time I go I think ill be a bit late.

Park Experience Changes?
QUOTE (flavum @ Feb 2, 2015 -> 12:46 PM) I'd lose that first thing, but that's me. Me too. Its just bad.

Give me an off-season you enjoyed more than this 2014-2015...
QUOTE (Carlo Paz @ Jan 30, 2015 -> 04:05 PM) When they picked up AJ and Dye I remember thinking that at least they had given themselves a chance, and that's what you really ask for as a fan...just a chance. Well said. In no season that I can recall have they gone from not having a chance for two years to a team like this. So I'm happy.

MLB teams will spend $4 billion in salaries this year
210M for a mediocre team. I wonder how long cashman will survive.

Should #13 be put back in circulation?
He did a lot of good. But he was a mediocre player and manager overall. I respect your opinion but I disagree.
-
Should #13 be put back in circulation?
He is also one of the worst long term hitters in baseball history.

Should #13 be put back in circulation?
QUOTE (ptatc @ Jan 3, 2015 -> 02:12 PM) That injury really didn't effect him much. He lost a littler range in his ankle but he wasn't a speed guy so it didn't effect his play other than the time he lost. Ozzie was a very good player for the Sox. The defense he played at short was very good. He wasn't an offensive star but at that time the team didn't need it from him. I would retire his jersey for all of the contributions to the Sox as both a player and manager. He was well above .500 and was top 5 or so in all time wins for the Sox as well as the only modern day World Series winner. You are ignoring that as a manager he was completely out for himself in the end. He did not give a flying f*** about the white sox.

Would you have done things different?
Rick Hahn is much better at this than me, and everyone else here.
