  1. They are all playing for each other.
  2. It is a dereliction of duty Hahn has done nothing to help this offense this season.
  3. I don't mind Sox math. Bring back three prize shelf. These videos are awful.
  4. Game is over. Pollock has ro make it look like he might have a play to try to keep the catcher from scoring from first.
  5. For some reason, Sheets cannot hit on the road. Just brutal. .520 OPS, no home runs . 6 runs. There is no reason to play a 1B in RF for those numbers. His home/road splits make Rockies' seem normal.
  6. Home Runs are good.
  7. Sound like a rerun of a few weeks ago when they beat up on Detroit, had a nice win vs. Houston then a tough loss when too many were focused on it not being a loss but a good loss. The next day it was 21-5, and the losing continued. I'll buy in if they get 2 out of 3 here. But right now they are .500 playing one of the easiest schedules possible. Not just with non contenders, but real easy travel.
  8. About the same or less than napping in the dugout. If a doctor orders you not to work because of a medical issue, they almost certainly aren't going to sign off on you working from home.
  9. When Gio starts doing the speed walk, it's not a good sign.
  10. And if his condition is so serious he had to leave immediately, how is watching the games and in constant contact with Cairo better, and medically allowed. The fact that no one is talking, just a press release means either this situation is rather dire or there is some BS going on and they don't want to ho on the record with blatant lies.
  11. If everything else played out the same but the only difference was the Sox actually hung on to win the game they lost to Cleveland when they led 8-2 in the 9th, there would be a 3 way lie for 1st in the ALC right now.
  12. If Cease can lead the Sox to victory tonight, and Seattle can beat Cleveland, the Sox blowing that 8-2 lead in the 9th vs. Cleveland earlier this season would be the only thing keeping the ALC from a 3 way tie at the top.
  13. Yes. If anything, playing hard "for him" only when he's gone makes him look even worse. The more I think about this situation, the stranger it gets. Forget the Sox aren't providing updates, but if his condition was so dire, he had to leave immediately, why would Cairo consult with him every day? Wouldn't a doctor be opposed to that?
  14. It was hard to win when they played, and each of them gets hurt a lot. If you aren't prepared to play without them, you aren't going to be prepared.
  15. At least we don't have to watch Kelly anymore. Martin in. Why didn't he start?
  16. The last thing JR wants to do is sell to someone that will immediately make his operation look deficient.
  17. A base hit here would pretty much end the game.
  18. Joe Kelly almost certainly won't blow a lead tonight.
  19. Iowa Hawkeye. For the Hawks, he was fast Was also a pretty nice returner.
  20. Is there any way you can platoon him a different way? He's great at home, and a slow Leury Garcia who plays RF like Paul Konerko would on the road. Only have him on the roster for home games.
  21. Whatever it is, the team and/or Tony don't want anyone to know. Joe Kelly left with lightheadedness, Yaz left with knee discomfort, Eloy left with hamstring discomfort. Ta left with goin discomfort. Tony leaves with a medical issue. They don't even tell the players. It' has to be something fairly serious.
