In other words, they couldn't dump him on anyone. He's such a talent, but all these injuries will take their toll. He can't be the player he could have been anymore, even if a miracle happens, and he starts to stay healthy.

Unless he is part of the deal, Quero is starting to hit a little bit. I'd keep him as the back up. I don't know how much longer they can have Romo, an automatic out in the line up. Initially, he at least hit some long balls, but hasn't for a couple of months.

I do think he has improved. Still too many cringe moments for me. He seemed upset they were making fun of him for dropping nachos. His South Side, stand up, was ridiculous when he used it after a Spring Training game the year they set a record for losses. But now, it would be great. He needs to take it out of the mothballs. Maybe like their alternate uniforms, they don't want to be South Side, anymore.
