  1. When is Colson going back to Glendale?
  2. I wonder what happens to the Sox win total once their starters get to their innings limits.
  3. You're probably right. I always have thought his South Side, stand up would have been great for a decent team. But now he's been exposed, and he has no credibility with a large portion of the fanbase. I really think they are grooming McKnight to take over next year.
  4. I don’t know if Ishbia will be any good, the the day he takes over can’t come soon enough. It’s ridiculous JR won’t give up control. Look at the record, you don’t know what you are doing.
  5. Schriffen was put in a tough spot with his job, but I'm starting to believe the reason he was hired was because he was so clueless and doesn't know bad baseball when he sees it. You listen to the broadcast, you would think the Sox lead the division by 10 games and have the next decade where they can only dominate.
  6. Watch out, they may win a couple of games and its' time to put you on a spit. It's amazing how a few are acting like a team that is almost guaranteed to lose the 2nd most games in franchise history, sees light at the end of the tunnel. This team is horrid.
  7. I know he has to be the company shill, but I’m starting to believe Schriffen has no idea the White Sox are a terrible team.
  8. If they need development, let them develop. But pick a venue. Don't call them up for a couple of games only to send them back. No one is going to get better that way.

More than half of them will be ex-White Sox by then.

Exactly. I was watching a Podcast with Our Chuck and Fegan. It seems Fegan doesn't think the Sox will contend until 2030.
  11. I'm trying to figure out why Milwaukee traded Civale for Vaughn and made the money even. For Getz, this was a no brainer. You might not get much for Civale, but it will be more than he could have gotten for Vaughn, and with the money sent, he should be able to get more than the Brew Crew could have gotten had they traded him for a prospect or two.
  12. 3rd base coach held him up. He probably thought Semien might throw to 3rd.
  13. No there were worse players, but only 2 that got that big of a chance.
  14. I read something that of all players who have at least 2000 plate appearances with the White Sox, Vaughn has the 3rd lowest WAR. I was so happy when the Sox got him. He was advertised as Konerko on steroids, a guy that knew the strike zone inside and out, something not many White Sox could say. Maury would now say that was a lie.
  15. Is Hostetler still employed by the White Sox?
  16. I have DirecTV. They had this channel from the get go. When the weather is bad, the signal goes, but recently they did something where it will switch to an internet connection, but not on this channel.
  17. Jeff Torborg was a classy guy.
  18. Depends which version. Although technically not the GM after 2012, he lost it. It was weird. He was always able to get guys who could hit. They might not be able to run or field, but they could hit. Then suddenly just about everyone he picked up couldn't hit, like the Sox had no idea how to recognize hitting.
  19. So they are slightly better than the team that set the all time record for losses. Rejoice Sox fans, and those that said they are the same or worse are such fools. I think most on here figured they would win more than 41 games. It's not really a high bar. Calling people out because of a 6 game hot streak, which was nice to see, is absurd. This team sucks.
  20. The double cheeseburger at 35th Steet is easily the greatest $7 double cheeseburger and fries in Chicago. Plus the fried shrimp is supreme.
  21. I sure am glad the So. Have played better this week and are back in the playoff hunt.
  22. Didn't a players' poll call him the most overrated? He's been awesome the entire playoffs. I'd love him on my team.
  23. Nashville won't build them a stadium either. They blew their wad on a football stadium.
