Arlington Heights making stadium pitch to White Sox?
The city can’t pay their bills as it is. If you think they will give anything to the White Sox, you haven’t payed attention. The Sox only hope is that the state give them money. That’s a firm no, especially now with no idea what their pools of federal government funds will be for with states that didn’t vote for the current administration. JR is either going to have to build it himself or make a deal with Ishbia to build it for him.

The Sox next shelter rescue?
How exciting.

5/17 Sox @ Cubs 1:20PM
Nothing makes sense. How do you develop not getting chances, the one thing not being a good team should give players?

White Sox reportedly trade w/HOU for Miguel Castro
It’s like most restaurants that post under new management signs. Most still suck.

White Sox reportedly trade w/HOU for Miguel Castro
If scouting were such an exact science, Juan Soto and Fernando Tatis Jr. would have signed for a lot more, and several more would have received a lot less. But I’m certainly glad you are satisfied with the White Sox international operations. The fact is, there were players available at some point, but the White Sox are always holding on to a decent size of their allotment. The strategy hasn’t work other than for JRs bloated wallet.

Arlington Heights making stadium pitch to White Sox?
If the requirement is that someone has to build the Sox a new park, there is no way Arlington Heights is going to build them a new park.

White Sox reportedly trade w/HOU for Miguel Castro
First off, if true all the players are signed, with this organization, having $500k left over is a fucking joke. Second, I’d take the chances of someone “popping up” over a 30 year old often hurt, can’t throw strikes reliever ever becoming viable.

Ding dong, the Wicked Witch is dead: Amaya DFAd
Good to see the Sox giving up some bonus pool money. No need to spend it when you can spend it on waiver claims of 28-30 year olds.

5/13 Sox at Reds (5:40 pm)
Since they are playing the Reds, this may be appropriate here, supposedly, Shoeless Joe and Charlie Hustle are now both eligible for the HOF.

Workman DFA'd after 1 MLB game
Probably but Amaya has a .244 OPS.

Workman DFA'd after 1 MLB game
Kind of a weird claim in the first place if you are only going to give him a game. That, and calling up Maton over Elko, then DFAing Maton for Elko was odd too.

Can Shane Smith win AL Rookie of Year?
If he keeps pitching like he's pitching, he will be ROY. It looks like one move Getz got right. And in a huge way.

Chet Lemon RIP
More sad news, one of my favorites, Chet Lemon has passed away. Had a lot of health issues in recent years, including several strokes. Couldn't walk or talk during his final days. Only 70.

Ouch: Meidroth hit in head with pop up
Ron LeFlore took one off his head once with the White Sox for a 4 base error. Knocked him a little silly.

Soxtalk mourns the passing of our beloved friend Alex (Heads)
Only knew him from his posts, but always was insightful, and humorous. I thought he was a good guy even though he was a Cyclone. This is so sad on many levels. Peace to his family.

Free Tim Elko (Back in Jail)
He is what he always has been. He peaked in college. It happens.

Nancy Faust returning
It's weird, I've interacted with Brooks a couple of times, and he seems like a great guy, but a lot of people seem to have problems with him.

Nancy Faust returning
I didn't go there last year, but for a couple years before that, they were using her booth as a first aid station. They quietly rid themselves of organ music several years ago.

Luis Robert trade thread: La Pantera stays.
If he stays healthy, and that is a huge if, the Sox will never get the value Robert would give a good team. I think he would flourish. Again, I fail to se why any team would throw him a strike right now unless the game is out of hand.

Free Tim Elko (Back in Jail)
The Sox are bad enough where they should reward guys for performing. Probably he falls flat on his face in the Major Leagues. So what? He earned a shot. Give it to him. I was a big Andrew Vaughn fan, but he is what he is. How much more do we have to see?
