More sad news, one of my favorites, Chet Lemon has passed away. Had a lot of health issues in recent years, including several strokes. Couldn't walk or talk during his final days. Only 70.

Ron LeFlore took one off his head once with the White Sox for a 4 base error. Knocked him a little silly.

Only knew him from his posts, but always was insightful, and humorous. I thought he was a good guy even though he was a Cyclone. This is so sad on many levels. Peace to his family.

Andy the Clown used to tell the ladies "you really turn me on" and light up his nose.

He is what he always has been. He peaked in college. It happens.

Meidroth looks a little like Ron Cey.

It's weird, I've interacted with Brooks a couple of times, and he seems like a great guy, but a lot of people seem to have problems with him.

I didn't go there last year, but for a couple years before that, they were using her booth as a first aid station. They quietly rid themselves of organ music several years ago.

He looks a little like Davis Martin.

If he stays healthy, and that is a huge if, the Sox will never get the value Robert would give a good team. I think he would flourish. Again, I fail to se why any team would throw him a strike right now unless the game is out of hand.

The Sox are bad enough where they should reward guys for performing. Probably he falls flat on his face in the Major Leagues. So what? He earned a shot. Give it to him. I was a big Andrew Vaughn fan, but he is what he is. How much more do we have to see?

They should have sent him to their spring training complex.

That’s another reason Jason was better. He came up with Sox Math because he was clearly a mathlete.

If your top offensive prospect is sent to the spring training facility because of struggling, you can spin it all you want, it’s a bit of a problem .i still hope his issues are fixable, because if he can’t hit good gas without cheating, he’s screwed these days.

Yes, and they will always point out the sucesses. Odds are, it won't propel him back to future star status, but it's probably a better look than a demotion.

No they fired him, and Frank went to him when he struggled after he was gone. Apparently he was a little to gruff for some of the players.

It doesn't say much when Jacob Amaya is right now a better baseball player than a guy the organization has been touting and we have anxiously awaiting for a couple of lean years.

It would help their reputation a bit if someone once every 10 years or so, comes out of their system looking like they know how to hit.
