I don't think Hendicks is going to make the playoff roster. -

It was nice of Jason to say something, but can there be anyone down there watching this game while getting hit by a hurricane? I have Direct TV and I can’t watch hen it looks like rain. -
The more he struggles the bigger the problem becomes later. I still think the plan was for him to dominate, exercise the option and trade him, but a couple more clunkers, no one will want to pay him $16 million next year, let alone give up anything for him, and it’s not like the Sox would be able to get him cheaper if they decline the option because the closers job is taken . So it is pretty much make the WS or bust. I still think he will be fine.

Luckily Tony made a "gutsy" move and changed pitchers.

8/28 Chicago Cubs @ Chicago White Sox 6:10 PM CDT

Grandal said he was feeling a bit winded last not, so I doubt he would even DH. It is even hotter and more humid today, I would expect some rest, especially with a day game tomorrow, that right now, seems like it will be a long day at the ballpark, as a lot of rain is supposed to come through between 2 pm and 3 pm. -
Not quite but pretty close. Sick burn though.

Age shit? You have been doing it for years. People of all ages take naps. And then you do age shit here. You really have no idea what you are talking about. Now go get stoned and tell everyone how coll you are.

1 inning 7 hits and a walk against a minor league line up, and yanking him is gutsy? If anything was gutsy, it was letting start the 2nd, thankfully he either came ro his senses or someone awoke him from his nap.

8/27 Chicago Cubs @ Chicago White Sox 7:10 PM CDT

I'm guessing the over/under for Steve Stone mentioning "lively ballpark" is 14 tonight. -
It was 97. It's been 96 or 97 in the 8th. You know if he pitched the 8th inning yesterday, you would be focused on the hit, and the rocket by Semien. Except for the 2 home runs, Kimbrel has been snakebit as a White Sox.
-
He got the save yesterday, but the hit he gave up, the rocket by Semien, would all be a huge deal if he had pitched the 8th and did exactly the same thing.. The only difference was he wasn't ridiculously wild on a few pitches . Personally, I think the need to close is a nothingburger. Just going through a stretch. Get the bad stuff out of the system.

Yes, but an option is more attractive to other teams. Edit, saw the rule, so he is coming back for sure. I still think he will have a career. He should be on Detroit or Pittsburgh or somewhere he would actually get a chance to succeed. It seems half the time he caught was against LHP. It's got to be hard to be sharp playing as infrequently as he has.

Liam Hendriks' wife identified pitch tipping
Dick Allen replied to South Side Hit Men's topic in Pale Hose Talk
My wife and I were walking down the street one night and a fortune teller was trying to give me an advertisement. I told her I didn't want it but that she probably already knew that. My wife got so mad at me. She is an intelligent woman a lawyer with an LLM. But she believes in these people. It is so bizzarre. -
I agree. He had the bullpen going the second he gave up a hit.
-
So if you were managing the White Sox in October, you would rather have Heuer than Kimbrel, correct? Since you are twisting and turning stats in an attempt to fit your narrative, wouldn't the 2021 Codi Heuer bear some blame for the White Sox overrated bullpen?
