You had to figure a slow start with Jon Jay injured. Maybe Gio will pitch well today and the Sox offense will look good, and everyone can overact the other way. Last year after 2 games, the Sox actually thought there was a possibility their rebuild was a lot farther along than they thought. Davidson was an MVP... They are obviously going to suck, but I wouldn’t make any conclusions on individual players after 2 games.

It’s only 2 games, but they certainly don’t look major league in any way.
