  1. Was the hitting and defense anywhere to be seen this series? Dusty aided them as much as anyone. it was a nice two days as I got nothing out of the tigers series. Talk about getting your ass handed to them. I was in a meeting from 1:30 to 2:30 and just checked in holy shit 10-0 in the 4th. Welp I hate this team again. Giolito has zero trade value at this time and I sadly am coming around more and more to the non-tender camp if the price is not right. No way you even discuss a long term deal. He does talk a good game though I will give him that. Why do you take him out after 68 pitches?
  2. No different from yesterday or the previous four months.
  3. Against a legitimate offense there should be a few runs scored this inning. His stuff is not good. This offense is still very broken. If not for Dusty's poor pitching management, I am not certain the Sox have more than four runs scored in this series.
  4. Maybe Elvis can at least bring a new look to something.
  5. Note sure Vaughn saw a strike.....Luis Garcia is not that good but here we go I guess.
  6. 2 pitches....1 out....the Pollock leadoff thing is fading
  7. If the organization felt the fans were going to buy into this team with no additions and losing rodon after last year that is on them for being stupid. There was no preseason ticket purchase buzz from a lack of offseason signings and a lockout. The attendance drop should neither shock or surprise anyone.
  8. No he will not and hasn't for 40 years...he can outspend the poor teams in the division and the carrot stays out there for us. This season is exactly what he wants.
  9. The way Anderson has played SS all season he should move to 2B or RF when healthy if Elvis is playing to his level of defensive play.
  10. 1 for 8 with RISP and 3 double plays.....story of the game
  11. If bases loaded......hit sheets....takes slider away......ugh
  12. WTF......stand there like a statue like last night and bases are loaded Sheets PH in 9th
  13. Gotta swing strike 2 Robert playing is good because takes retro IL off the table........hopefully.....
  14. Figured kopech would only go 5 but hoping the offense would do a little something. Houston starters have been great.
  15. That is maddening. He is currently useless. DH and batting 5th is stupidity.
  16. Slider won't be as good but hopefully the curve plays and control improves.
  17. Kopech is about where Cease was last year. Frustrating that he needs to learn in what is now a pennant race. I'd love if he could go to the pen in September.
  18. Andrus is so obviously a need.
  19. He is playing for next contract if he wants. Can't do that on the bench. No guarantee Anderson comes back.
  20. It's a day game and I have to take off work Friday and next Wednesday to take them to school. They did it knowing I couldn't go.
  21. Kopech 5 Kelly 1 Diekman 1 Lopez 1 Graveman 1 LFG
  22. Anderson and Andrus have the same WAR for this season. Sosa going back down is not a bad thing.
  23. Absolutely if there were options out there. Andrus is not Did for Andelton. Don't be dense these are not the same situations. Elvis can add to the team and Sosa may at some point.
