True. But for some teams it's so minor that no one notices. For other teams is interesting but not impactful. Then there are a couple teams like the Sox where it's a major signing worth lots of discussions.

I wonder if it's all the entertainment choices that are available or something else but I'm just not willing to pay current ticket prices for national live events anymore. I'd rather support local entertainment.

I don't mind the extended playoffs but if I'm going to watch professionals play, I'll watch on Sunday. There isn't a definition or stat that we all will agree with. Ask for what they are worth, settle for less than what they are worth, and move on? Other teams can get away with it and sometimes come out clear winners in trades, but that's not us. We lose trades.
