  1. Jomboy is the best follow on YouTube.
  2. This organization reads something like this and takes it as a challenge. I'm confident they can make this worse. They haven't even come close to the low point. They will grab some shovels and get to work.
  3. I'm surprised no one has hired him again. He practically invented quiet quitting. I think most folks learned a lot from the Tony rehiring. So bringing back Oz is the perfect WS front office response. Great memories? Yes! Drinking issues? Yes! Lack of effort? Yes! Out of day to day operations for years? Yes! Hall of Fame? No. But maybe with a few more years. Please bring back Ozzie. If he could piss off a couple more groups of people with his political and social comments it would really complete this s%*# show. If we're going to lose, let's be entertaining.
  4. The first thoughts should be anyone with a concussion. It really messes with your sleep patterns. (I don't know how they would treat an athlete who works the evening shift.) Sometimes it's short term so doctors of regular folks take a wait, watch, and see approach. They don't want to medicate unless absolutely necessary. The suggestion is to take short <25 minute naps when necessary to function. (At least in my case). Here's the problem. We would like to assume the player is giving 100%, the medical staff is doing their jobs, and it's all to help the player and the team. But we're so disgusted with this organization we'll jump to the worst conclusion first. Obviously the player is lazy, probably partying all night, hungover, hates playing for the Sox, the medical crew is incompetent, management is absent, the other players don't give a s%*# to wake him up. Hell maybe this is due to international drug smuggling? Gambling interests?
  5. At this point we'd believe any bad news out of this clubhouse. How sad is that?
  6. Timmy just moves his stuff everywhere. He just can't stay loyal to one place.
  7. They rushed him back. The Sox medical staff was so much better with him. Lol
  8. I've tried through the years to cheer for the Cubs but never really stuck. But I'm so fed up with the Sox a new favorite team is possible. Texas? Houston? Chicago? They each make sense.
  9. If the team was even close to being successful all of his statements could be accepted on face value. But this is such a s%*# show it's much easier to believe it's lies and half truths.
  10. Welcome to the clubhouse.
  11. I think a lot of fans have given all they can with very little return. They are out of give a fucks. It's fair to expect the team to make an effort to win back their business. That's not being an a - hole, it's being human. I've kicked at that football for too many years just to have the organization pull it away.
  12. The Orioles set the bar for making demands of their announcers. They suspended/fire anyone even close to being critical.
  13. That's always a tough situation. How much value do you place on prior accomplishments while wearing the uniform?
  14. The Athletic regrets firing the Sox beat writer right about now. Finally national news worthy stories from the Southside! People are talking about the Sox. Fans are spontaneously planning to go to a Sox-Athletics game later this month. Payroll has been cut. It's a great day to be a Sox shareholder.
  15. JR to Hahn "When I told you to make the Athletic regret pulling our beat writer I didn't mean this!"
  16. Over how? Most folks here don't think the team will leave Chicago. But it really seems like the perfect choice. Fresh start. New name. New city.
  17. Proud of what? 2005? There is literally nothing to be proud of. But I get the message.
  18. This team is going nowhere. I really want to be at (home?). I think I'll start a fight and give myself a little vacay. Well played TA.
  19. Lol I'm thinking of how Bartolo could possible disappear. Hiding behind a truck?
  20. Which really isn't that difficult to know. None of us have been on a MLB team but we understand this culture sucks and others are successful.
  21. If not, close enough. I wonder if there are fights in the front office. Perhaps JR taking naps during the game.
  22. I believe they are bad. I've been solidly on the side of this organization is the worst in baseball. But reacting to half of a story is the kind of poor management that this organization needs to stop.
  23. They maybe thinking let's deal with this in the off season. Sleep meds are a challenge to work with. Lots of side affects.
  24. I wrote that before seeing the interview. I was thinking issues like physical therapy? Family issue? Team doctor visit?
  25. Six games seems steep. Imagine if he actually landed a punch instead of getting knocked on his ass.
