  1. No no Lewis Brinson.
  2. Best player in the league not named Trout...
  3. Royals not playing around leaving Barlow in for multiple innings.
  4. Anderson has been the opposite of clutch this year. Great hitter but definitely not situationally.
  5. Immovable object/irresistible force. Both teams are terrible but someone has to win...eventually.
  6. Royals haven't won back to back games since mid April, lol.
  7. Depends how many games the Twins and Indians are up with relatively easy/ier schedules.
  8. Well all the momentum in the world isn't behind the Royals now...we just fold like a cheap tent at any sign of adversity.
  9. Fwiw Blue Jays also have 8 blown saves in 21 too, which partially explains their position in the standings.
  10. Now we are doing that sacrifice a tie game on the road thing with the pen. I mean what team pays Joe Kelly $8.5 million per season over multiple seasons not to pitch in these situations?
  11. He doesn't have an arm but he would have caught that at least.
  12. 8 blown saves in 21 opportunities. Biggest budget outlay for the bullpen in MLB history. Fitting. If it wasn't for Boston the Sox would be last/worst.
  13. Now who in God's name do you go to?
  14. Got turned around, didn't he? Balls will always find the weak defenders in the late innings. It's a Sox law. Have to use Pollock as a defensive sub.
  15. How did they let Merrifield get to third? Of course a good throw would have nailed Lopez. More 8th inning woes.
  16. If he keeps his ERA down in the 4.50-4.75 range...obviously depends on how other pitchers do, but there's not much beyond Martin in the high minors.
  17. Foster gets the job done. And the KC lineup was really hot this past weekend against Colorado. Had a decent 4-5 road trip averaging 5.73 runs per game.
  18. Leury's ball won't be caught next year with that particular shift disallowed.
  19. DFAing Keuchel means he needs to pay his full 2022 salary even faster...hence a big no go. Nobody in their right mind would claim him. A desperate contending team might offer to take him if the White Sox paid almost 80-85%. Wouldn't count on that, though.
  20. Coleman warming for KC...
  21. Not based on his two most recent starts, though. Most important point, Rick Hahn's ego is in play and he will avoid launching Keuchel unless there's no other choice.
  22. Cease/Heasley are the only two announced for tmrw. Giolito or Davis Martin the other... Brady Singer maybe?
  23. No way that happens with VV always having been the first name on the chopping block.
  24. "Probably" TLR knows what he's doing says the Royals' radio team lol.
