  1. Still, SSS makes predicting or projecting a 3.5ish fWAR way too premature. Need at least 300-350 at bats to start drawing any type of conclusions yet.
  2. Easy to understand surrendering two lesser prospects and the more comfortable ceiling/floor on Burnes for just one season. Then they reassess at the deadline or next offseason.
  3. Insane ending Iowa State at Baylor...
  4. Replaces the Cuban Connection with Royals/Giants-Banister. Not sure that's the greatest trade off.
  5. Or Shewmake...no reason not to let Sosa play every day at Charlotte.
  6. Wetherholt new #1 for BA.
  7. https://btn.com/2024/01/30/iowa-vs-nebraska-sets-btn-record-for-womens-basketball-broadcast/
  8. Frobby Sports Guy Rolls Tide might be lobbying Baseball America for the Orioles' system to be ranked 1 and 1A.
  9. Paddy is getting crushed for Yogurt Vera Cespedes and Colas recently but his lifetime record is impossible to argue with. All comes down to budget AND willingness to spend.
  10. At least he put up a 6 fWAR season in his career.
  11. Marie has now reversed her stance on over simplifying/consolidating lol.
  12. Right now everyone in the East is chasing that franchise...even hired Theo Epstein to assist Breslow and close the gap.
  13. https://www.baseballamerica.com/stories/2024-mlb-farm-system-talent-rankings/ White Sox creep up to #18 1. Orioles 2. Brewers (can see why they still believe they can compete) 3. Rangers 4. Cubs 5. Tigers 6. Padres 7. Rays 8. Mets 9. Yankees 10. Dodgers
  14. Could now be #17-18 with two announced trades today... Assuming Santos clears his physical.
  15. Look at his assist total that year. His arm always much stronger and more accurate in RF. CF slightly above average.
  16. Eaton 10x the prospect coming up in AZ with Pollock and Peralta. Check out his fWAR the season before he was traded.
  17. Due to straining facial muscles saying "Hi Mom!" to the camera.
  18. Yeah and Kolek/Aiken taken before Rodon the same. That said...speaking of first rounders, till struggling to embrace the Burger trade months later.
  19. Tigers and Royals at least trying...
  20. White Sox still trying to set a record for lowest ROI on three Top 5 picks in Madrigal Vaughn and Rodon.
  21. Sometimes you can pile up a ton of outfield assists because of everyone challenging your arm...will have to wait and see with the eye test.
  22. Like Stiever, although Mena more potential clearly.
  23. DeLoach is much more well suited for LF. Not aspiring for that particular outfield will get us very far...after Luis Robert is traded.
  24. Plus with the terrible Sox system the perception of Mena was probably skewed upwards...but shuffling the decks to this extent (seemingly) isn't bringing in any future impact players.
