I'm not sure exactly what Ozzieball is either but we can probably assume some of the components are: Scott Podsednik, starting pitching and defense. Three things that were alot better at the beginning of the summer than they are now.

Sorry but I don't think being overly positive or negative about this team has any effect on their chances of winning this division. It's our job as fans, however, to support our team through thick and thin. And we are definitely in thick times right now. If you had told me in April that we would have a magic number of 11 on September 17, I would take it. Be strong White Sox fans. We will see this thing through no matter the outcome.

N64 and GameCube were major and minor failures respectively compared to what Nintendo's expectations were. Their dominance of the handheld market is now also being threatened by the PSP. This controller shows me they are really getting desperate. They've done a good job of generating a ton of PR for a TV remote, but the Revolution won't be coming out any time soon. At E3 they did not have one in-game demo of anything for the Revolution. If you're over the age of 13, don't waste your time waiting for Revolution. Simply borrow or rent one after it comes out if you really need to play the new Mario or Zelda game. The only things you should be buying are an XBox 360 or a PS3.

PBF Comics These have to be some of the best comics I've ever seen. Alot of irony and cultural references in these along with just plain weird stuff. Here is one of my favorites:

He's probably the only guy on this team with the tools to be a #2 hitter. It's just sad that the people below him are not getting it done lately. I know he's much more than a #2 hitter, but will we ever see him bat 3rd, 4th or 5th on the White Sox? I'm leaning towards no.

AOL does not seem like a great investment for anybody at this time. I guess Microsoft is really just interested in AOL's large customer base. Google just raised a bunch of capital too, and there was speculation yesterday that they would put in an offer to AOL. The idea of a big online service just doesn't seem right in today's ISP model. Broadband prices are going down, and AOL really messed up their entry into that market. With all the content on websites today, dialup is becoming much too slow for many Internet users.

They just eked out their division by 2.5 games at the end of that season. I can't imagine their fans were feeling any better about the postseason than I am now but they had won 3 of the previous 4 World Series before that.

The way the Sox played, I don't think the manager makes a difference in this one.

I would consider myself lucky if I was only affected by allergies for one week a year. I guess I'm used to it now so it doesn't really bother me unless I cutoff the medication.

Konerko failed to catch the liner that WAS foul. Then he sat there and didn't go pick up the ball. The relay throw came to Konerko who dropped the ball AGAIN and thus Rodriguez scored from first. I don't care if it was a bad call, Konerko had two chances on that play to get him out.

The Sox aren't gonna be bad enough to let anyone catch them. We haven't had anything close to a 17-32 extended period of suckiness for me to think it could ever happen. I also don't like calling it "RIDICULOUSLY EASY" since we play basically the same schedule they do over the course of a season. Notice also how we have a ton of games with Minnesota maybe partly because everyone complained that Minnesota always had a "RIDCULOUSLY EASY" schedule at the ends of previous seasons.

The Korean gaming industry seems to be stuck in the late nineties. Too bad Starcraft: Ghost is gonna suck.
