Has anyone else looked at Gordon Beckham's twitter and put 2 and 2 together and figured out he's dating Scott Fletcher's daughter? Interesting, if nothing else.

Nobody cares about his stories of his playing days...he hasn't played a major league game in 41 years. It's not relevant or interesting, especially if they're trying to appeal to younger fans. And Hawk also needs to realize that he isn't on the team. I don't need dead air when the team is going bad because he's down in the dumps. His job is to call the game as a Sox guy, but fairly. It's just been way over the top bad the last 5-10 years.

Just one of those games. Get the next two and forget about it.

Fukudome really isn't doing anything, he was a cheap gamble, but it's not working out. Escobar doesn't seem to be anything great either, but at least he plays infield ok, and can pinch run better than Fukudome.

Week ahead: T: Walters vs Floyd W: Diamond vs Sale R: Pavano (maybe) vs Humber F: Gomez vs Danks S: Lowe vs Peavy S: Jimenez vs Floyd Probably Moore vs Sale next Monday. And Shields vs Humber Tuesday. Further out, it looks like Felix Hernandez vs Danks on June 1. I wouldn't be sad to see the Sox flip Peavy and Danks. The schedule sets up to skip somebody on June 4 (the off day), and then the final week before the break could have Peavy pitch Sunday before the break instead of Danks. I'd rather have Peavy get another start and miss the All Star Game.
