Average temperature is a misleading fact because the Earth is an extremely large body that heats up faster in some regions that others... I forget the exact number of years mentioned in a documentary on the subject, but in the last 50 or 100 years or so, the average temperature at the planet's polar regions has gone up 5 degrees. At that rate, we're well on our way to devastating the environment. But what are you reading that says the Earth's temperature has gone up 2 degrees in the last 100 years? That's an awfully drastic change for such a short period of time.

All-Star Baseball 2004 is pretty, good, IMO. Have no way to compare it because I only played it so far. Hitting is tough, but I was starting to figure it out. The real problem I had was that I rented the game from Blockbuster over Spring Break and didn't have a manual so I had no idea how to do anything. I'm pretty sure if I knew what buttons do what, I'd really have liked the game. Oh, and the Franchise Mode is really, really deep.

Garland has not been BAD yet... His defense collapsed behind him against KC and yesterday just a lot of lucky swings and bloop hits were falling in. Granted, he hasn't looked particularly good, either, but let's let Loaizia and Stewart strut their stuff against teams not named the Detroit Tigers before saying they have leapfrogged Jon in the rotation.

Yeah, Mike assumed "Favorite Sox Player duties" after Robin's departure..... Haven't really replaced him, yet. Either ways there's no way Mike ever comes back here, and I would be shocked if he ever pitched in the Majors again the way he did in 2000. Still, it would be nice to smash him in the middle of this rotation, if still healthy... Buehrle, Colon, Sirotka, Loaizia, Garland... Not bad...
