  1. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 07:46 PM) We didn't. But everyone keeps trying to add these overpriced veterans that will wipe out the rest of the farm system. http://m.mlb.com/news/article/183970840 White Sox now having their name attached to Wil Myers. Some interesting names but probably no season changers. Do you just make up your own narratives? That article simply says the Sox would be a good fit for Myers, it doesn't suggest there has been anything connecting us to him.
  2. We'll need to score a bunch more runs or have Robin ejected to win this one tonight.
  3. The new Zelda games looks & sounds incredible. Moving in a lot of fresh directions while keeping the core intact. Really sucks it's not coming out until next year.
  4. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 04:11 PM) I don't think it is wrong to point out the experience level difference. Just because you traded a stock or watched CNBC, it doesn't mean you know investing as well as Warren Buffet. Baseball isn't any different. And from a practical standpoint, the management staff is going to be privy to information that none of us have, and probably will never know. I mean even if we are just talking about understanding the personalities of his players, how would we know that stuff? Like it or not, there is an advantage from having done something for decades on an intimate and personal level that people outside of the game will never have. If only Robin was the Warren Buffet of managers
  5. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 07:47 AM) They don't have to though. They can just play Coats in RF I'm all for giving Coats an opportunity in RF, but no way can we trot both Coats & Avi in the lineup on a regular basis. We need to add a bat soon and OF is the best/easiest spot to upgrade.
  6. Get an OF and get one soon. Can't keep playing Avi in RF.
  7. QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 12:05 AM) Danish sent down. I imagine Coats isn't far behind. I'd give Coats more than 9 ABs before writing him off. Having said that, I wouldn't mind giving Danny Hayes a look.
  8. QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 12:04 AM) Danish to Charlotte Who is coming up?
  9. As someone who actually sat though Shields' first start and was rewarded with nothing, I'm glad those of us who stuck with it tonight got to see a victory. Would have been painful to come so close and not end up with the win.
  10. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jun 13, 2016 -> 11:48 PM) LMAO. POTY.
  11. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 13, 2016 -> 11:56 PM) Sox 3-0 in games Robin is ejected. FUEL THAT FIRE Awesome! Was hoping someone would pull that stat!
  12. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 13, 2016 -> 11:47 PM) No coincidence that the only point we were winning today, the team was being managed by Renteria. So very true! Excellent in-game management when he took the reigns.
  13. Rick Renteria!!!!!
  14. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jun 13, 2016 -> 11:41 PM) Shuck is f***ing worthless. The reverse jinx worked!
  15. Shuck is f***ing worthless.
  16. QUOTE (soxfan85 @ Jun 13, 2016 -> 11:38 PM) You just had to know that Duke couldn't possibly go 1-2-3, right? And a nice scare there by Duke puke. Duke got the job done, who cares if he gave up a hit.
  17. Most terrifying flyball in baseball history.
  18. Duke just filthy right there!
  19. Oh boy, this is going to be a stressful half inning.
  20. If Navarro gets on, we need to pinch run with Saladino.
  21. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 13, 2016 -> 11:29 PM) Wow. Kinsler chokes. David excels. Beat them now or don't cry later. Dude, fast forward or something. You're way behind.
  22. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 13, 2016 -> 11:27 PM) We could use Semien and Phegley's numbers tonight about right now. Stop trying to jinx this s*** bro.
