I think it's pretty obvious that Rodon is on the major league roster because they want him working with Coop on a daily basis and they feel he's a better starting option than Noesi despite being an unfinished product. The incredibly small chance of Sale going nine innings is gone, which is fine by me. Pinch-hit for Sale in the 9th, hope you can get a run or two, and then have Robertson close it down.

I know it sounds ridiculous when we're still in May, but tonight's game is a must-win IMO. Need to keep winning series, need to be beating up on the weaker teams, and we desperately need Sale to return to form. A win tonight helps towards all three of those goals. If we keep f***ing around when we have a clear edge in the pitching matchup, then this season will fade away very quickly.
