Is this how it works?
Kanny already played, rolling to a 7-0 victory. Solid, if unspectacular turn from Snodgress, and 2.1 more innings of wildly effective wildness from Jefferson Olacio.

B'Ham off
Charlotte at 6:00ET, Purple Phallus at 7:05ET
Tyler "Crazy Eyez Killa" Saladino rapidly turning into one of my favorite 'spects. He can stick at short and he draws a walk better than Morel ever could.

The bottom of the order in the bottom of the 9th...I should've gone to Harper's debut tonight. I blew it.
I mean, you should have done this regardless
Watching Beckhams AB on game day, saw in play, outs. Thought to myself, based on pitch position and count, thats an infield pop out. Way too predictable.

NOPE.
We're not in "win now" mode.
Rebuilding year.
He's not going to be a part of any future with the Sox...why bother?
Bingo!
Robin wanted to see what he had in Santiago, and now he knows, and hopefully will find out what he has in Reed.
Early part of the season is always like this, especially with new faces around.
Escobar can't hit for crap and his defense is probably not an upgrade from Beckham. The only advantage he provides is switch hitting and it doesn't help much from the #9 hitter.

I can't remember a Sox player I disliked more...
Jerry Owens? Randy Williams? There have been plenty i've liked less. That being said, I think its only a matter of time before he is gone.

Esco? Really?
Sounds like Tesco or Costco.
First, tlb, Tanks, this nickname thing is now officially getting out of hand.
I dunno, fairly standard shorthand for a person whose last name is Escobar. He can earn a nickname.

Not much info out there on this young fella... yet. He seems to have a very advanced understanding of the strike zone, which in this system means he should move fast.
Mitchell's stats are sort of crazy. SSS I know but still, 33% K rate, 33% walk rate, something like 10/12 on balls in play. I'm glad he is having some kind of success but that babip is going to come down and he better be ready to make more contact.

Why did they bail on him? Seems rash.
He isn't that good and the Red Sox have plenty of better 5th starter guys (Aaron Cook, etc)
Some team like the Astros or Twins that need lots of pitching help should get him.
