They could also try and target Eduardo Rodriguez or Duffy, but that would be going cheap in a big year for them. Hopefully they recognize that stakes is high.

I love the Yankees prospects too, but Cashman is too smart to splurge this early. They will win 75-80 games next year but they'll be monsters again soon enough.

Also I think NGale was mentioning "serious" talks this last trade deadline, so you know, grain of salt.

Whats frustrating is that I can still see them going either way. They did this same thing with Viciedo and then cut him before they had to pay him real money. So that could happen if they plan to compete.

People like to rag on Avi because he's terrible at baseball, but what they forget is that the White Sox are also terrible at baseball.
