5/2 Games
The people are excited for YoMo. A note - the pitcher going against Kanny has not allowed a baserunner in the last 12 innings. He has a perfecto last time and so far is doing the same tonight.

If you read the article, he says he was wrong then and isn't changing his mind now. He likes the trades.

If Collins has to both learn how to catch AND reconfigure his swing, we aren't going to see him for a while, if ever.

El Rey with an encouraging start so far, for those who need less gloom.

David Robertson
I know David had a rough day today, but Fernando Rodney just blew another save and is carrying and era north of 10. The dbacks... Could really use a closer!

Eaton to Nats/Giolito, Lopez, Dunning to Sox
I guess my main question would be, would it be worse if the ankle was broken, or if he tore a ligament or something? Obv the way that thing was moving, something very bad happened, but is it possible he just severely sprained it? edit - I guess its also possible that all that stuff happened at the same time. Poor Adam.

Eaton to Nats/Giolito, Lopez, Dunning to Sox
QUOTE (hi8is @ Apr 28, 2017 -> 10:05 PM) Cool. So what's the most likely diagnosis. What's the potential recovery time and what would you see being potential implications to his overall game? Have at it. Medically speaking, he borked his ankle good, he's gonna be out a lot, and is probably gonna cuss up a storm!

April 28th Game Thread: White Sox at Detroit Tigers
If you had told me in Feb. that the MVPs of April for the Sox would be Garcias Avi and Leury I would have bust a gut.

David Robertson
QUOTE (ron883 @ Apr 28, 2017 -> 04:07 PM) Never say never I'm saying never. I do think Soto is a possibility IF DRob cuts the walks and stays dominant.

2017 NFL Draft Thread
There aren't many smart NFL front offices, you could count them on both hands, but the Bears are really showing their asses here.

2017 NFL Draft Thread
Given that this is the NFL, I think it's far more likely that the Bears are just run by incompetents than Pace playing 12-dimensional chess.

only thing that might make it more killer is if the L, instead of a sock, was a white L on the Guaranteed Rate down arrow

Danish doesn't strike anyone out, which doesn't bode well for his future. But yeah, he may as well get a look this season.
