bad every time I hear Buddy Bell talk about player development I become more convinced he is a Royals plant with a mission to destroy the Sox from the ground up. Which isn't to say I expect them to lose 8/10 for the rest of the season. They have been pretty unlucky lately. They are, however, almost certainly a below average to bad team, offensively. The pitching will probably be fine, but scoring 0-3 runs a game won't net many wins.

Normally I am one to preach patience, but this is no longer a slump. A slump lasts a week or two. Good teams bounce back. The Sox haven't. Given recent history, I think is just who they are.

So Ramirez is the new Raburn, right?
