If the White Sox aren’t careful they’re going to be caught by the Tigers. Detroit seems serious like they expect to contend next year. Didn’t they have a pretty decent record after the all star break last year?

Semien is a top 5 free agent this year. When is the last time the White Sox landed a top 5 free agent? Probably Albert Belle. The White Sox don't operate like that anymore.

I kind of hope Rodon and Conforto accept their qualifying offers. I want Rodon back and I don’t want to spend the off-season talking about Conforto coming to the White Sox only for us to be beaten out by another team who’s willing to spend more money.

This post is spot on and speaks of the randomness of baseball. Rosario, Soler and Duvall look like superstars in the playoffs but they were just random players during the regular season. It’s like if Nomar Mazara and Adam Engel would have had a hot streak during last year’s playoffs.

Man, watching how good those teams have been in the playoffs, it’s hard to imagine that our White Sox as currently constructed could hang with any of them. It’s like we’re not even in the same league.

Again, I don’t know what y’all are expecting the players to say. They’re asked these questions and do you think they’re going to shit on the manager who’s coming back next year? They won’t do that.

Hendriks says he doesn’t care what inning he pitches. Why not make him the set up man while Kimbel closes? If Kimbrel finds his groove as closer I bet you could get a haul for him at the trade deadline next year. Then you could slide Hendriks back into the closer role.

This team won’t win under La Russa unless he becomes just a figurehead in the dugout while smarter, younger people run the team in the background.

I wish we could steal Joe Espada from the Astros to be the manager for the White Sox.
