If Tim Anderson goes to a team with a real coaching staff, he’d be an MVP candidate. He would flourish under someone like Ron Washington.

I think it has to be a major retool or they’ll have to tear it down to the studs and start all over again. The 2023 team should look nothing like the 2022 version, and that means they’ll have to trade some people who we thought were untradeable. I’m okay with either scenario as long as they send TLR back to Arizona.

The owner isn’t interested in hiring the best manager available, he wants to hire people he’s familiar with. We got so lucky with Ozzie Guillen but what the fuck was Robin Ventura doing managing the team? What has he done since he left the White Sox?? And you just wait… I’d almost be willing to bet that AJ Pierzynski is the best manager because the owner likes him. Never mind that AJ has never coached or managed a professional team in his life.

This team should make ZERO moves to try to save the season. Any moves they make should be towards a retool for next year and beyond.

There’s no reason whatsoever to bring up Colas this season IMO. Some of Sox players were brought up too soon and I believe is a reason why some of us call them the dumbest team in baseball. Give him time to develop properly in minors and don’t ruin him. This 2022 team isn’t going anywhere anyway.

And as far as him wearing down, look at the White Sox starting pitching. One guy was so bad that he got DFAed, one has a knee that probably won't ever be 100 percent again and one guy isn't as dominant anymore without the sticky stuff. The White Sox should have absolutely tendered him an offer or extended him. Hell his dominant start at the beginning of the year would have the White Sox over .500 now and I think that's worth something even if he does tire towards the end of the season.

TLR only answers to Reinsdorf, not Williams and certainly not Hahn. Jerry is putting his trust in the hall of fame baseball person to make the best decisions for the organization.

AJ Pierzynski is being awfully critical of the White Sox. He’s going to be the next manager isn’t he? I’d put some money on it. I could even see the White Sox sacrificing Miguel Cairo next year and naming AJ bench coach so he can be manager in waiting.

All that foolish optimism after winning 3 of 4 against the Twins is gone. There is no way Hahn should trade any prospects to improve this dead ass team. The White Sox should be in full sell mode.
