I really, REALLY want them to go outside the organization for next manager. It’s obvious that they need a new voice. Have real interviews with experienced major league managers and pick the best one regardless of his ties (or lack thereof) to the White Sox.

You cannot go into next season with Eloy, Vaughn, Grandal, Sheets and Abreu on the roster. You have FIVE 1B/DH. That's terrible.

The thing I'm worried about is TLR having influence in the front office even after he leaves the dugout. Like if Hahn wants Player A in free agency, but he's overruled by TLR. I can see why top free agents would avoid the White Sox like the plague. They seem so unorganized with no structure. I mean who actually runs the club?? Is it Reinsdorf? Kenny WIlliams? La Russa? We know it's not Hahn because he can't even pick his own manager. Free agents who want to win have to see that.

I just don't understand how they can't fire TLR right now. They have 50 games left to turn it around and someone said that the players actually like Miguel Cairo. What do you have to lose??

I have to believe that season ticket sales will plummet if they were to announce that TLR was coming back for 2023.

I could 100% see Reinsdorf keeping TLR, scapegoating Miguel Cairo and bringing in AJ Pierzynski to be the bench coach to "Light a fire under these guys". The players would revolt before all star break.

Not scoring a run while the bases are loaded with no outs wouldn't hurt so bad if this team didn't suck so much. It's baseball and shit like that happens.

Wow it seems like Hahn is standing pat for real. I'm glad he's not trading prospects to try to save this season. If they don't make any trades today, I think we are in for a MAJOR retool in the offseason. I think that is the best course of action.
