I don’t think the White Sox will ever sign a high dollar top free agent as long as Reinsdorf owns the team. I think it’s against his beliefs. So all this talk of signing Scherzer or Semien or any other big fish is just poppycock. Think about that next time you pay a lot of money for game tickets or merchandise.

This “great team as is” will be caught by the Tigers if Detroit starts landing free agents. Little piddly $5M gap fillers aren’t gong to cut it anymore. The White Sox are in the middle of their championship window and should be pushing chips in. We all as Sox fans suffered during the rebuild and its going to be upsetting if this is the best it’s going to get.
