Quin

I was upset until reading your comment made me realize that yeah, this isn't the worst that could happen.

Presumably go about my day.

Gonzo is gonna hit so many bombs at the new stadium that Tray won't know what to do.

Southpaw looks like he just got woken up from a nap lmao. What is he wearing?

That works. Good s%*# Vargas.

Rikku heard y'all talking s%*#

Tristan Peters is the honestly the top of player that makes me slowly change my opinion on Betz. Such a crazy good pick up.

Before anyone says Benintendi is hitting well lately: He's got .148/.148/.333 over his last 7 and .204/.273/.600 over his last 15. For a guy that's played 3 innings of defense all years, that's horrible.

Call him up in the summer when The Cell turns into a bandbox. His away OPS is above league average.

Unrelated, but Charlotte's stadium has such a great outfield skyline.

Luis' option didn't need to get picked up. That was money that was never committed, but Getz was determined to get value for Robert after years of striking out on it. If he never picks up the option they can just go ahead and get Sandlin/Hicks. We'd be missing...Acuna.

Saying Getz got him in the Robert trade is just giving cover for Jerry being cheap. But Sandlin looked real fucking good.

Any continued Luis Robert kvetching can go in the former Sox thread.

Nishida needs to start bunting properly for them to increase attendance though.

I think they scored more runs in this game than last season

powa

The true Ichiro clone.

Sandlin is cooking, damn.

This is the most wack thread currently active.

I was assuming the most recent "era." Limiting it to just that, Luis was also a good player for the Sox, he just couldn't stay healthy. His rookie season and 2023 were outstanding. Expand it to the Sox entire history and it's no contest - no foreign country comes close to Cuba when it comes to having an impact on the White Sox.

Jose Abreu erasure is crazy. There are also two Cubans on the active roster.

He was too good to be true.

Universe literally telling us to fall in love with Nishida.
