I hate to keep saying this because Elko is a good story, but for a fan base so rabid against guys with high strikeout rates and low walks, Elko is somehow overlooked. Watching him haul ass down the line, you can see how he has a sky high BABIP in the minors. But look at Moncada and TA for examples of guys that relies on high BABIPs to succeed.
