    Kannapolis won tho.
  2. Talk about Escobar rumors here. Y'all can debate platooning Vaughn in a new thread.

Micker (along with a bunch of other prospects) starts heating up, hits a walk off. Yoelqui is playing. The Future Sox game threads are usually sober and fun. Instead: Rick Hahn, the man who built a team currently in first place that's just experiencing their first slump due to an ungodly amount of injuries is apparently a bum because he doesn't recognize talent in the farm system ... that he (and obviously Getz, Shirley, Hostetler, Paddy, etc.) put in place. Oy.
  4. Fuck it. Call up Adolfo. I don't care how bad an idea it is.
  5. At this point we need to seriously consider that Herm made a deal with the devil.
  6. lmao, that's what getting caught is my guy. Astros running black ops campaigns on opposing teams message boards is next level hysterical.
  7. The Athletic's got a proposal of Ben Simmons for LaVine. I think the most I'd do for Simmons right now is a Lauri sign-and-trade, with the Sixers throwing in picks. Dude has negative trade value after the Hawks series.

Alright, who wants the job from Ron?
  9. Oh yeah, most def. Again, the Sox should never, ever live this trade down. Shields was hot garbage at the time and they shouldn't have given up anything more than EJ, I'd anything at all. But Preller's deals that season (I'm including Boston and Miami) show the man wasn't making deals in good faith. Maybe it was cosmic justice for the Sirotka trade, who knows.
  10. Because I haven't checked his stats in a little bit ? This made more sense when his OBP was above .300
  11. So if the Bears leave, do they try and get rid of the space ship?
  12. With the magic horseshoe the Sox have, I truly want to see Rutherford or Sheets actually get some burn.
  13. While the Sox should never live down this trade, Preller should definitely lead off with "provide other teams with questionable and/or false medical data"
  14. That bat drop is just beautiful.
  15. We could be getting Kopech, Hamilton, and Fry back in the near future. Robert and Jimenez by August. Oh my.
  16. This is some team of destiny shit right here.
  17. Begin the ancient cheers. Dick-man! Dick-man! Dick-man!
  18. Go bigger and get Trea Turner + Brad Hand
  19. I mean, I'd take a Top 4 pick. Suggs could be anywhere in top 4, but I'd be ecstatic with Green or Kuminga, then going full court press for Ball.
  20. If the Sox win a series against the Rays while down Eloy, Robert, Kopech, Moncada, Madrigal, Fry, Hamilton, a hobbled Eaton, Grandal's average still sub-.200 (even if he's the god of walks), the bullpen still figuring itself out, Vaughn and Mercedes hitting the rookie wall, and Abreu in a slump ... I'd say we're in a pretty good spot.
  21. The team is 22nd in home runs - but has the 3rd best offense in terms of fWAR and the best run differential in the league. They're probably the best offense in the league at manufacturing runs.
  22. So despite the odds, the Sox have the top ranked bullpen by fWAR and FIP. The WAR is impressive because they're ranked dead last in innings pitched.
