  1. As someone that eviscerated Vargas, if Acuna is getting playing time in two years, that mean several of the following have failed: Colson, Murakami, Vargas, Meidroth, Antonacci, Gonzalez, Bergolla, Carlson, Roch (supposedly), Braden, Baldwin, Fauske, Zavala, Lodise, Wolkow, Mogollon, Burrowes, Burke (he's reviving himself!) Idk if you want to bank on the zero power, low walk rate, bad defensive player beating out all of those guys.

The doomed-to-fail Gonzo CF experiment begins now!
  3. Bulls are weird cause they'll have a lot of fun toys, a lot of them raw (which is why my slight lean is to Boozer). Tier 1 — Core: Giddey, Buzelis, Wilson/Boozer, #15 (hopefully) Tier 2 — Young, raw, toolsy: Essengue, Miller, Dillingham Tier 3 — Solid dudes with defined roles: Tre, Okoro, Stix Shooting guard is the glaring hole. Funnily enough if you look at the free agents, Ayo is one of (if not the) best fit.
  4. So many people on social seem to be down on Boozer, but every scouting report I've read on him would make me giddy. It makes me think of the Luka draft. Here's the super young, super skilled guy dominating the competition that doesn't jump out the gym - his athleticism comes from how he sees the court and uses his body. The Suns and Kings fell in love with Ayton and Bagley. I'd be ecstatic for the Bulls to get either. Like you said, Wilson's athleticism and defensive upside is mouth watering. Boozer gives the Bulls another playmaker besides Giddey and adds some desperately needed rebounding. My very, very slight lean would be Boozer due to playmaking go for Mara or Cenac with the 15th. I really, really hope Graham nails the coaching hire.
  5. If Davis Martin gets a loss, then one of the batters must be sacrificed.
  6. Dybantsa is pretty much the only one of the Big 4 I don't think will be on the board at #4. Give me Wilson or Boozer.
  7. Sweet LORD Fingers crossed.
  8. Davis Martin inherited the Quintana gene.
  9. Brooks Boyer really put Kids Day on Mother's Day
  10. I don't know who the CF of the future is but he needs to get here now.
  11. This is absolutely fire. Dude is buying into the culture.
  12. Co-signing everything you said. Roch fits the timeline. Slots in fantastically on defense. It makes perfect sense. Emerson or Lombard, we're now crossing our fingers + they're on a different timeline. They're also going to be fighting with Carlson for SS reps throughout the system, because you don't want to take him out of that spot as long as he continues to hit.
  13. Don't overthink this don't overthink this don't overthink this.
  14. I remember when the Astros and Marlins tricked themselves into thinking Aiken and Kolek would be better than Rodon. Obviously Rodon didn't live up to his ceiling, but 22 fWAR isn't anything to sneeze at.
  15. All I need right here lmao.
  16. Hold up, Meidroth already had sunglasses with him!?

I guess this isn't actually Streisand effect, which is where attempts to hide or censor info makes people look into it more. But in this case, baseball fans wouldn't know Cole gave up that homer if he didn't plunk Bonemer.

This is ultimate Streisand effect lmao
