Bad baseball brings out may other criticisms. Most of those criticisms come from that DH day. The last thing I would do is eat or drink beer at a ballpark. There's no economic sense in it. Hit a buffet before the game.

Hard to believe the Astros got a deal like that.

I still believe half of the problem is instruction on the farm. Working on fundamentals in ST is probably a new experience for younger players out of the system. Trying to compare how things are done in MLB to other sports is apples and oranges. You can often see the results of making the right picks in other sports after two seasons. The only comparison I would suggest is the need of new ownership. Then you start bringing in people from consistent winning organizations to run things. I'd be checking out scouts and instructors from the Cardinals organization.

This kind of stuff always seems to happen when your team sucks. Fans attack other fans. Creating a thread to call out certain people is immature and that is a contribution to the degradation of any forum.

Ohmygodno is the new Tony Pena. This guy has no business in organized baseball involving a paycheck.

I think it's time to get rid of Ventura now.

This organization has had some really bad flops that even semi-pro teams wouldn't sign them.
