  1. Nah, the Dodgers were going to trade Ross Stripling to LAA with Joc, but when the Mookie Betts deal was reworked, they backed out of the deal with the Angels. https://www.dodgersnation.com/dodgers-reported-joc-pederson-ross-stripling-trade-with-angels-is-off/2020/02/09/
  2. For those of us proposing Ozzie come back at some point....
  3. If its true he and his wife are expecting... I can relate. I have a borderline nervous breakdown if I have to go to the gas station. Stuffed in a locker room with 59 other sweaty guys seems frightening amidst a pandemic.
  4. I remember sitting in my office at my first "real" job out of college, watching the game on MLB.com (F5'ing the gameday page) with a bunch of coworkers over my shoulder .. only to be heartbroken by the outcome of the postseason.
  5. duh duh dun... do do.. duh duh duh duuuun dun....
  6. 2000 was also the year the Sox drafted Joe Borchard.
  7. Maybe the Sox can play all 60 games to sell out crowds... as a protest https://www.autoblog.com/2020/06/09/n-c-speedway-defies-coronavirus-orders-says-its-races-are-peaceful-protests/
  8. I think Hi8us mentioned in the draft thread that his coach took it easy on his last season due to fatigue.
  9. I like those other team too. So... maybe, um... Chicago Fire???
  10. Did the Sox $$$ leak at all? Did they even extend an offer? Bryce wanted to be the highest paid player, right? I don't think that JR and the Sox were willing to play that part, at least not in the 2018 off season. In hindsight, I like how things turned out.
  11. Aside from Rob Mackowiak in CF, what else changed?
  12. Indeed. There were a number of fumbles along the season... and the starting rotation was clearly cooked from the 2005. But the 2006 versions of Dye Thome Konerko was as scary of a 3-4-5 you were going to see.
  13. Doesn't matter. They still DIDN'T.
  14. Typical Tool fan... OH NO YOU DONT LIKE MY MUSIC SO THAT MEANS YOUR MUSIC SUCKS AHHHHH
  15. and put everyone in the crowd to sleep. #overrated
  16. C - AJ Pierzynski 1B - Paul Konerko 2B - Tadahito Iguchi 3B - Joe Crede SS - Juan Uribe RF - Jermaine Dye CF - Aaron Rowand LF - Scott Podsednik SP - Mark Buehrle SP - Jose Contreras SP - Freddy Garcia SP - Jon Garland CL - Bobby Jenks
  17. How about some 1986 Old Comiskey and prime Roger Clemens
  18. Apparently Tony Gwynn taught us nothing.
  19. Its relational. That was the case in the older versions. If the pitcher's fastball was maxed, their changeup velocity slider was limited within a certain range relative to fastball velocity.
  20. Sorry, not what I meant. You can get a running fastball up to 98.
  21. I think the pitch type you want is "Running Fastball" No. I spent at least an hour editing player attributes before even playing a game. Also, most of the minor league relief pitchers all look like Yermin. Maybe I missed something but I don't think Zach Burdi is Dominican.
