I don't know if they still have it at the park, but in 2011 (last year I regularly went to a games before I moved south) they had a vendor selling spicy sausages with grilled onions. I swear to God I spent $50 a game at that vendor.

The one thing Ned Colletti did right (at least the team did right while he was GM) was draft and develop star players. Hopefully they get back to that soon.

Why are so many posters upset with the trade? The Sox gave up a guy who can't play defense or stay healthy, a guy who throws hard but doesn't know where it is going and a guy fans love because of a couple of highlight catches? For an all-star slugging 3rd baseman who greatly improves the team defense and lineup? That isn't super expensive? I don't get it... This is the best 3rd baseman the Sox have had since 2006 and could possibly be better.

Being a minor league signing, that's pretty top shelf. He was a legit contributor in SF when they won the world series. But then again, Chris Widger didn't exactly set the league on fire after 2005/06.

I hate picking at old scabs, but wasn't AJ supposed to be a bad defensive catcher? That turned out alright.

Watch it be signing Tyler Flowers to a lesser deal than he was due in arbitration.
