He's definitely good enough defensively. He has shown flashes of offensive prowess. He just needs to piece together a full season's worth...

If the Sox need a stopgap 2B and Micah Johnson isnt ready yet, why dont the Sox just re-sign Beckham to a 1 yr deal, instead of trading Viciedo for Ackley?

At first I thought, "That's a lot of money and years for a closer that throws 91." And then I looked at the rest of his stats beyond ERA and saves. 13 k/9?? Jeesh. Most people believe that Quintana's brand of success is much closer to "true talent" success and, therefore, is more likely to continue going forward. This is a quality post. +1
