  1. Franics missed in the clutch. Suprise, suprise. Bet the Bulls didn't see that play coming.
  2. Bulls are lucky to be in this game the way they've shot from the field today. Magic TO's have killed them as usual, and Steve Francis doesn't even have one.
  3. I'm here at Uni watching the game, rootin for the Bulls to pull this one out, and really they should with Gordon and Chandler in the 4th. Hinrich needs to guard Francis real good in this 4th quarter though, although knowing Steve, no-one else will get a shot this period.
  4. QUOTE(DonkeyKongerko @ Apr 7, 2005 -> 12:42 AM) Can one player really turn a team from best defense to worst defense? I'm thinking yes. Imagine if they didn't have Cesar Izturis.
  5. Usually I think you sed the reply back straight away so they can organize numbers etc. but my parents would do that not me.
  6. QUOTE(tonyho7476 @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 11:41 PM) As much as I liked this guy....his strikeouts and bad glove just had to go. Don't forget the wonderful OBP as well!!!
  7. QUOTE(mreye @ Apr 7, 2005 -> 12:38 AM) Are wookies indigenous to Australia? Probably the Tasmanian Devil if I had to think of something. Where's BigFoot when ya need him.
  8. QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ Apr 7, 2005 -> 12:38 AM) What exactly is so special about these movies. I mean I haven't seen even one of them and personally never care to see one. What is so good about them. 3 words. Jar Jar Binks.
  9. QUOTE(Spiff @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 05:10 PM) I got it for the first time this year, and it's so worth it. I'm addicted, I've watched about 10 games in 2 days. I'm considering it also, but considering when most of the games are, I'll be at Uni 3 times a week, I'm not sure if it's really worth it. Plus of course there's the usual distractions from things you should be doing like work.
  10. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Apr 7, 2005 -> 12:31 AM) I'm glad Joe Cowley reported this. He's usually on top of these stories. Following Lee's HBP I suspected, as did SS2k4 and several others, it was too coincidental to be "merely an inside pitch that slipped." Marte's immediate reaction did nothing to convince me otherwise. He's certainly been on top of things Carlos Lee related this off-season that's for sure.
  11. QUOTE(tonyho7476 @ Apr 7, 2005 -> 12:36 AM) DBAHO, which one are you? The photographer;
  12. QUOTE(mreye @ Apr 7, 2005 -> 12:33 AM) Do you think there are prostitutes walking around outside the Chinese Theater offering their "services" in exchange for an original Millenium Falcon? Maybe if they were dressed like Wookies;
  13. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 7, 2005 -> 12:26 AM) They could be having sex with each other... Imagine the pick up lines; Do it or I'll go all Yoda on you. At least I don't sound like C3PO. Don't make me get my collectors edition double edged lightsaber.
  14. Interesting read here from Joe Cowley and the Southtown;
  15. QUOTE(Butter Parque @ Apr 7, 2005 -> 12:03 AM) I am a Bengals fan. They're not going to take a DE (at least not in the 1st round) They have Duane Clemons (6.5 Sacks), Justin Smith (70 tackles, 8 sacks), Robert Geathers (16 tackles, 3.5 sacks in limited time as a rookie), and they just re-signed Carl Powell. They're not going to take a DT either. They have Matthias Askew (who would have been perhaps the 1st DT taken this year), Langston Moore (promising young run stuffer), John Thornton (57 tackles, 3 sacks), and they signed Bryan Robinson. My guess is that they are targeting Thomas Davis if he falls to them to become their SS. With him and Madieu Williams, can anyone say "best young tandem in football". If I had to put money on it though, I would say they trade down, perhaps out of the 1st round, to give Marvin thos draft picks he loves, and then they would take Chris Spencer © and Robert McCune (LB). Didn't Cinci really suck against the run last year though?
  16. I still think Cleveland will end up with Phil Jackson or Flip Saunders. And yes Paxson had to go, he's Scott Layden like, and would have been crucified in a bigger market like New York where they demand success. Drafting DeSagna Diop and Darius Wagner, really ain't something you want on your resume.
  17. They were misled by the Dark Side of the Force...... (damn even I know, that's bad).
  18. QUOTE(qwerty @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 05:39 PM) His era will be right around five this year. I see him getting slapped around a lot. He needs Leo Mazzone. NOW.
  19. Some big wraps on Salvador Sanchez even though he's never played minor - league ball. He's probably the one guy who'll be really interesting to watch this year, Phil Rogers said he was built like a young Juan Gonzalez minus the nagging injuries hopefully. Big wraps on Liotta also putting him ahead of Lumsden, although I think when Tyler comes back from surgery, hopefully he'll regain his velocity, and rise through the system, the Sox thought he was the best college pitcher left when they picked him. Valdez at 29, meh I'll just imagine that's Tom Brice instead.
  20. Big game for you guys against us tomorrow, going back to back in Florida. Magic didn't play badly at all last night in Dallas, but without Hill who has a shin injury, the Bulls should win. And I'm hoping they do, we need as many ping - pong balls as possible.
  21. You're not alone Kipper, you're not alone.
  22. See you don't need pads; http://users.bigpond.net.au/plod/browns_hit.wmv
  23. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 12:51 AM) We each owe over $30k on our SLs. You don't have to tell us anything about that We consolidated the rest of our debts and are paying on that. Over there the longer you wait to pay off your SL's, do you have to pay more in interest? That's pretty much the case down here, hence the incentive to make payments now, getting discounts, and wiping out the debt quicker.
