  1. Lindor signed a contract worth $341 million with the Mets. For the sake of discussion I think its fair to say that Anderson is as good as Lindor. Anderson is probably going to be looking at the same type of money as Lindor received. In Spring Training Anderson talked openly about wanting a contract extension with the White Sox. Whether or not the White Sox have approached him about an extension is unkown. The White Sox #1 prospect is a shortstop is Montgomery. His estimated arrival time coming up is 2025. Andersons contract with the White Sox runs out after the 2024 season. Also the 2022 White Sox media guide says that Andersons main residence is Litchfield Arizona. He has moved his family from the Chicagoland area. All things considered I don't think JR will resign Anderson. He will be gone after the 2024 season.

Some people on this site and elsewhere have said that if this team doesn't do well this year there will be big changes in the off season. I'm beginning to wonder if this team continues to struggle if this front office makes some drastic changes to this team at the trading deadline. It might be another white flag trade. Maybe when Eloy comes back he can add some punch to this offense. Then again, when is he coming back?
  3. I wonder whats going to happen when Eloy comes back. Can't help but wonder if they release AJ Pollock.
  4. I was surprised that KC pitched to Robert in the 10th inning.
  5. Did anybody think that Dallas would be pitching in the only win against the Yankees this weekend?

Abreu and Grandal simply aren't hitting. If these 2 don't start hitting this season isn't going to be a success.
  7. I hope you're right about the ballpark being packed. It looks like there are alot of unsold seats for this series on ticketmaster.
  8. Has anybody here noticed that Kimbrel has 5 saves and a era=1.35 with the Dodgers?

They should of never traded Nick Madrigal.
  10. Yes, you can still bring in water.
  11. You might not believe this but JR doesn't respond to my letters anymore. Its a shame because I've had some really good ideas for him to consider.
  12. Obviously Burger doesn't fit into the White Sox plans.
  13. If I was Burger I would not be happy going back to the minors.
  14. You might be right about going back to the minors. But I would think he would be upset at being back in the minors. I would think he would ask to be traded.
  15. From what I can see the White Sox have 4 choices. 1) Put Moncada on third and put Burger at second. 2) Put Moncada at second and put Burger at third. 3) Trade Moncada. 4) Trade Burger.
  16. I've tried signing into Apple for the last half hour without any success.
  17. Pollock should have been given an error on that last play. He should have caught the ball.
  18. I was surprised that the Tigers stadium is pitcher friendly. The park is as big as an airport. The old Tigers Stadium was a hitters park. The new one is a pitchers park.
  19. Hahn grew up a Cubs fan.
  20. The 6:10 start is only for the weeknight games during the month of April,
  21. Just curious, how do you know that the team has sold less season tickets than last year? I've wondered about their attendance this upcoming season. With the high gas prices and inflation going thru the roof, I would think that most people won't have as much money to spend on entertainment/baseball games. I've noticed that the White Sox home opener isn't soldout.
  22. The White Sox don't want Conforto and nobody wants Kimbrel.
  23. I realize these are exhibitions but I still like beating the bad guys twice in the same day.
  24. I've sat back and wondered what Hahn would do with Kimbrel and who he would acquire to play second base. I didn't think anybody would take Kimbrel. Looks like I was right. I did read in todays Sun Times that the bad guys on the Northside want to improve there bullpen. Maybe Kimbrel will wind up on the Northside again after he eventually gets released by the White Sox.
  25. I thought that Hahn should of been fired a few years ago. I wrote JR a number of times hoping for a interview for the GM job. I have yet to hear from him.By the way, I would have never traded Madrigal for Kimbrel, never.
