Put Burger at 2B (or Yoan at 2B and Burger at 3B)
You might not believe this but JR doesn't respond to my letters anymore. Its a shame because I've had some really good ideas for him to consider.

Obviously Burger doesn't fit into the White Sox plans.

Put Burger at 2B (or Yoan at 2B and Burger at 3B)
If I was Burger I would not be happy going back to the minors.

Put Burger at 2B (or Yoan at 2B and Burger at 3B)
You might be right about going back to the minors. But I would think he would be upset at being back in the minors. I would think he would ask to be traded.

Put Burger at 2B (or Yoan at 2B and Burger at 3B)
From what I can see the White Sox have 4 choices. 1) Put Moncada on third and put Burger at second. 2) Put Moncada at second and put Burger at third. 3) Trade Moncada. 4) Trade Burger.

GT: Sox @ Tigers (Giolito v Rodriguez) 12:10 CT NBCSN
Pollock should have been given an error on that last play. He should have caught the ball.

GT: Sox @ Tigers (Giolito v Rodriguez) 12:10 CT NBCSN
I was surprised that the Tigers stadium is pitcher friendly. The park is as big as an airport. The old Tigers Stadium was a hitters park. The new one is a pitchers park.

Kimbrel traded for AJ Pollock
Hahn grew up a Cubs fan.

How to Contact the White Sox Execs/Sponsors and Demand TLR’s Termination
Just curious, how do you know that the team has sold less season tickets than last year? I've wondered about their attendance this upcoming season. With the high gas prices and inflation going thru the roof, I would think that most people won't have as much money to spend on entertainment/baseball games. I've noticed that the White Sox home opener isn't soldout.

Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
The White Sox don't want Conforto and nobody wants Kimbrel.

3/17 Game Thread (2) - Sox @ Cubs, 3 PM, MLBN/Marquee
I realize these are exhibitions but I still like beating the bad guys twice in the same day.

Offseason Part 2 - Lets the Rumors & Action Begin
I've sat back and wondered what Hahn would do with Kimbrel and who he would acquire to play second base. I didn't think anybody would take Kimbrel. Looks like I was right. I did read in todays Sun Times that the bad guys on the Northside want to improve there bullpen. Maybe Kimbrel will wind up on the Northside again after he eventually gets released by the White Sox.

Offseason Part 2 - Lets the Rumors & Action Begin
I thought that Hahn should of been fired a few years ago. I wrote JR a number of times hoping for a interview for the GM job. I have yet to hear from him.By the way, I would have never traded Madrigal for Kimbrel, never.

Offseason Part 2 - Lets the Rumors & Action Begin
I'm a season ticket holder also. Judging by what I've seen on WHITESOX.Com/tickets there doesn't appear to be that many season ticket holders. I thought there would a bump after last years division championship. It doesn't appear like they didn't get much of a bump in season ticket sales. I can't help but wonder how many season ticket holders they have.

Offseason Part 2 - Lets the Rumors & Action Begin
I can't help but wonder what the attendance for the White Sox and other MLB teams is going to be this 2022 season. With gas prices and inflation going thru the roof I can't help but think that the attendance is not going to be that good this year. I'm no spring chicken and I've never seen inflation like this in my lifetime. Most people are not going to have that much disposable income on baseball games. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

White Sox Sign RP Joe Kelly (2yrs with a club option; $17m)
LaRussa just said that Kimbrel will be on the White Sox Opening Day roster.

I hope you're right.

Offseason Part 2 - Lets the Rumors & Action Begin
I can't believe any team would take Kimbrel. Nor can I see the White Sox getting anything decent for him. I hope I'm wrong. We shall see.

The MLB lockout is lifted!
I read where the TV money starts to kick in for the owners after the 28th game. If that's true it would appear that baseball won't start until the first week of May.

The MLB lockout is lifted!
Former MLB manager Lou Piniella was on Tv yesterday and said that the owners are dug in and they are prepared for a long lockout.

The MLB lockout is lifted!
In 1994 during the MLB strike I think the MLB owners took out strike insurance and the owners got paid millions of dollars as long as the players were on strike. This is a lockout, not a strike. Still, I wonder if the owners have some type of insurance that pays them money as long as the lockout continues.
