  1. I wonder what the main details of the Indiana stadium bill are. Do the Bears get a sweetheart deal where they keep the ticket sales revenue, concessions and parking? I can't find that information anywhere. I know the offer is to have the Bears own the stadium after paying off the debt. I don't when that will be.
  2. I would assume you know what you're talking about. So if the Bears stadium is valued at $2 billion in Indiana their taxes would be $60 million as opposed to $210 million in Arlington Heights. If all this is true we shouldn't be surprised if the Bears move to Indiana.
  3. Do you mean they would be capped at $30 million per year in Indiana?
  4. I read where property taxes in Arlington Heights are $210 million dollars a year at the stadium site. I would think the property taxes will be much less in Indiana.
  5. The Bears are not asking the State of Illinois to build them a stadium. The Bears are going to build and pay for the stadium. They want money for the infrastructure.
  6. I just watched a video on Youtube where the Governor of Indiana and the Mayor of Hammond talked about the proposed Indiana Bears stadium. The Mayor of Hammond said this should be settled soon if the Bears are going to move to Indiana.
  7. The Bears are going to build a new stadium. They can't get it done in Illinois for whatever reason. If Indiana gives the Bears what they want they will move to Indiana.
  8. Indiana Governor Braun has said the negotiations with the Bears are going full speed ahead. He said they will do everything he can to bring the Bears stadium to Indiana.
  9. 1) There have been rumors in KC that if anew Royals stadium doesn't get done they will likely move to Nashville. 2) The Bears front office was suppose to meet with the Indiana officials 2 days ago. (January 6) I wonder if that happened. The Bears stadium issue seems to have become very quiet.
  10. KC is going to knock down the Chiefs stadium and its going to be one empty lot. It will not be receiving any tax revenue. I've been under the impression that the Chiefs ownership would have stayed at Arrowhead Stadium if there would have been renovations done to it. That didn't happen and they are now moving west/out of state. And it should mentioned that Arrowhead Stadium and the parking around it is much better than Soldier Field.
  11. I read where they are going to knock down Arrowhead stadium when the Chiefs leave. It will cost at least $150 million dollars to knock it down. You think it would have been better to work something out with the Chiefs and have the team stay in KC/Missouri.
  12. If Indiana gives the Bears everything they want, I wonder what will happen if Indiana says the deal has to have the team known as the Indiana Bears.
  13. I read where the Bears are meeting with the Indiana officials next Tuesday. ( January 6) It will be interesting to see if there is any movement on a new Bears stadium.
  14. It looks bad for Kansas taxpayers but still, the Kansas politicians feel overall it will benefit the State of Kansas, I find it difficult to believe that Kansas is going to lose money on the deal.
  15. 2025 was the start of good things for the White Sox. I'm expecting even better things to happen in 2026!!!!
  16. Economic studies might show stadiums are a myth in regards to economic growth but there are enough states and cities willing to build those new stadiums to attract teams. I think the Bears moving to Indiana would be a great PR move for Indiana.
  17. The people in Kansas are doing handstands over the Chiefs moving there. They seem to think the tax revenue (sales tax) and other money makes the deal wortwhile.
  18. From what I've seen most people in KC and Missouri aren't too happy about the Chiefs moving out of state. Even the Missouri politicians aren't happy about it. The more I've thought about it the more I find it amazing that Illinois hasn't approved the Bears Arlington Heights site. It would be a great thing for the area. If something doesn't change and Indiana offers the Bears a tremendous deal the Bears are going to move out of state, The states of Kansas and Indiana view a NFL franchise as an asset. Even tho the money is putting more money into the NFL billionaire owners pockets Kansas and Indiana think its worth it in the long run.
  19. Would anybody want any of those 3 instead of Robert Jr?
  20. I can't help but wonder, if Robert Jr gets traded, who plays center for the team? Are they trading him because he's making $20 million dollars? If he was making $5 million dollars would he still be traded?
  21. Another good signing. The 2026 White Sox season is looking to be a good one.
  22. I read where the KC Royals have bought land in Kansas. Losing a baseball team and football team in KC can't be a positive thing for that city.
  23. There has to be a positive for a state like Kansas to welcome the Chiefs. They view the Chiefs as an asset. I'm assuming Indiana view the Bears as an asset. I saw where they are already doing studies in Hammond for the stadium. Looks like Hammond is the spot for the new stadium.
  24. Once the Chiefs move to Kansas, I wonder if they're going to still be called the Kansas City Chiefs or the Kansas Chiefs.
  25. Looks to me that this lineup could be very good. Add Braden Montgomery in that lineup sometime in 2026 could make the lineup even better.
