McCann got pull happy. I think he may be well served by trying to go oppo more, like has has done so effectively in the past.

Mazara can't catch up to high fastballs. He gets jammed easily on inside pitches. I would put Leury in if for no other erason than to get him some more at bats if it goes to game,e 3 and we advance.

Engel should start in the outfield...either RF or CF... every game. I have been saying that for a while and this game did nothing to make me think otherwise.

How about a trade for an OFer like Austin Meadows?

Robert is built like a corner outfielder and he is only going to box out physically with age. I don't want to see him diving for line drives in both alleys and risking injury. Therefore, I would minimize that and put him in RF, then look for a CF or settle for an improved Adam Engel as everyday CF. Also, Robert's arm would play in RF more than it does in CF. In my view, he is the perfect RFer.

We are missing Eloy the Cub Killer in the line-up. Engel , Mazara and EE could each go 0 for 4. That would amount to 12 of the 27 outs, and that is a lot to spot any team. The home plate ump has to give ReyLo and our relievers some strike calls on the corners. Otherwise it could be a long afternoon.

I am for automated ball/strike calls as well.
