You're right about that. People who say RH should have walked if he didn't like the decision are a little too black and white.
Nobody knows what Hahn's goals are financially except him. It's always easier finding a job when you have one already.
I also think Hahn is in a good position for the future. He led the rebuild and it has gone well up to now. I'll bet a lot of teams would hire him
if he decided he couldn't take the JR nonsense any more.
3000 is a lot of hits. He might actually become more selective as he gains experience. If that happens, he'll be a better player.
It won't help his hit total though.
I agree. Went there on family trip and ended up meeting Mark Suppelsa and his son at the game. He's a really nice guy. Toronto is like an even nicer version of Chicago.
Would still rather have Colome. Both guys are free agents with no compensation involved.
Colome has never had a bad year in his career. Hendricks has had many. Not many relief guys are as consistent as Colome.
To me that suggests he has a true out pitch.
