Get with the program. It’s 2026. Nowadays, the organization has nothing to do with success of players. However, a long time ago, when Getz was in charge of player development, it was 100% the fault of the Farm Director if guys didn’t improve. At least this is what I’m told by the people who also told me the team wouldn’t be able to play at a .500 pace until 2030 at the earliest.- Inside Look at White Sox Draft Room via Jesse Rodgers/ESPN

At a bar watching with sound off. What’s he saying?- White Sox win draft lottery, will pick #1 in 2026
My question to the people who follow this stuff…. I keep hearing Emerson isn’t as good of a prospect as Bobby Witt was. But when I go to MLB pipeline and look at each player’s grades, it seems like Emerson is rated higher before the draft. Was Witt undervalued? Is it some type of inflation? Emerson: Hit 65, power 55, run 55, arm 60, field 60, overall 65. Witt: Hit 50, power 55, run 60, arm 60 field 60, overall 60.- After the recent play, is the smart move to sell instead of buy?
I’d rather have someone poke my scrotum with needles dipped in acid.- And that is a 22-1 [largest defeat in KC HISTORY!] WHITE SOX WINNER
It’s no laughing matter. It’s sad to see Soxtalk turn into some echo chamber that refuses to talk about real issues facing the team.- And that is a 22-1 [largest defeat in KC HISTORY!] WHITE SOX WINNER
Who cares? The real story is still the Athletic survey that said some players heard bad things about the Sox from guys who played here a few years ago.- Sox acquire Nolan Jones
Saying the last rebuild partly failed due to a lack of depth is not some controversial statement. The 2021 team was in the middle of their window and had a top 10 payroll in MLB. Why is that the year being used to measure the 2026 team? They should have had more depth. Besides, this "methodology" doesn't make any sense to me. What does counting players with negative WAR on each team tell you? Tanner Murray had -0.1 in 33 plate appearances and is no longer on the team. If he had 1 more hit and another stolen base or something, he could have had been in the positive. lol, ok.- 5/16 White Sox vs Cubs 6:10 CDT: Martin vs Taillon
Schriffen had been even more cringe this series.- 5/16 White Sox vs Cubs 6:10 CDT: Martin vs Taillon
Remember when Soxtalk was convinced Getz should have been fired for targeting Vargas instead of Luke Keaschall?- 5/12/26 - Royals @ Sox - 6:40 pm CDT

A decent segment of Soxtalk is still complaining about stuff Eddie Einhorn did during the first Reagan administration.- 5/3 Sox @ Padres - 3:10PM CT
Antonacci is sometimes too grindy- Official Chris Getz Apology Thread
Not hyperbole- Last week the general consensus on this message board was that the rebuild had gone backwards (even though the rebuild includes the worst team in the history of MLB), the lineup was the worst the Sox ever had (even though they had the worst team ever 2 years ago), and that they would be lucky to win 60 games.- Where the Panicans at? Future Looks Bright!
Its April 23. Jose Soriano and Aaron Ashby are on pace to be the first starting pitchers to go undefeated in a full season since Buck O'Brien went 20-0 in 1912. If they have one good week, their "on pace" record looks completely different. You guys think they will win only 63 games? I'll take that bet.- Schultz gets the call, Antonacci up too!
Like for the team to continue to be bad? No. Who wants that?- Rays @ White Sox, 6:40 PM, Antonacci Debut
lol I love all these kids favorite players are guys not on the team- Rays @ White Sox, 6:40 PM, Antonacci Debut
That made me lol- Schultz gets the call, Antonacci up too!
🤷♂️ I guess I just don’t see the appeal of pretending they are worse than they are or acting like I’m shocked that a bad team is playing bad thru April 15.- Schultz gets the call, Antonacci up too!
It’s April 15 and no one thought the team was good 18 days ago or whenever they began the season. You think they will be last in every offensive category at the end of the season? If a team is regressing and merits an organized “walkout” by the fans like some here are saying, I just figured they’d want more of the players from the good ol days before the regression.- Schultz gets the call, Antonacci up too!
