October 2, 20169 yr QUOTE (Flash Tizzle @ Oct 2, 2016 -> 02:10 PM) Sigh, I wanted to believe so much. I don't understand how Kenny isn't canned. They've seen the results of the two of these guys butting heads for at least 2 years now. What. The. f***.
October 2, 20169 yr Author I feel bad for even starting this thread. I should of known the rumors were too good to be true. KW and his puppet--Rick Hahn will continue to drag us along to .500 land in 2017. I miss the days when the White Sox were relevant in this city. Unfortunately, we will likely have to wait until JR sells the team for this to happen.
October 2, 20169 yr So why did people think Kenny is leaving? We are making a change in manager and you don't think we would have a conference for it? Edited October 2, 20169 yr by soxfan2014
October 2, 20169 yr I like how the exact scenario played out with the Bulls and we all still thought it would end up different lol
October 2, 20169 yr Until JR is gone the Bill Wirtz show continues, with KW playing the role of Bob Pulford. Fan base is completely fed up. Changing managers is putting a band aid on a compound fracture. Edited October 2, 20169 yr by Soxfest
October 2, 20169 yr QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 2, 2016 -> 05:44 PM) I like how the exact scenario played out with the Bulls and we all still thought it would end up different lol Which scenario? Paxson staying and Forman being promoted? Hoiberg being hired without them looking at anyone else? At this point I'm actually not sure which one you mean.
October 3, 20169 yr QUOTE (GreatScott82 @ Oct 1, 2016 -> 07:54 PM) There are rumors out there stating Kenny Williams will finally step down from his post on Monday. Can this actually be true? If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
October 3, 20169 yr MLB has already shot down those reports. Looks like we are still stuck with him. "We'll get it together" - Kenny Williams July 2016. Mark
October 3, 20169 yr QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 2, 2016 -> 06:04 PM) Which scenario? Paxson staying and Forman being promoted? Hoiberg being hired without them looking at anyone else? At this point I'm actually not sure which one you mean. Everyone thought Gar was gone this offseason but they came out and said "nope we will fix this together joke is on you"
October 3, 20169 yr Great, another offseason of endlessly arguing whether JR, KW or Hahn is most responsible for each bad or good move...
October 3, 20169 yr QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Oct 2, 2016 -> 08:20 PM) Great, another offseason of endlessly arguing whether JR, KW or Hahn is most responsible for each bad or good move... I think Kenny Williams was responsible for this post.
October 20, 20169 yr https://twitter.com/gaslampball/status/789221680820334592 Tip: White Sox VP Kenny Williams was at Petco Park today. Absolutely no idea if this is anything, but this Padres blogger has over 7K followers.
October 20, 20169 yr QUOTE (flavum @ Oct 20, 2016 -> 04:58 PM) https://twitter.com/gaslampball/status/789221680820334592 Absolutely no idea if this is anything, but this Padres blogger has over 7K followers. Was there some sort of baseball related event there today to give him a reason to be there?
October 20, 20169 yr What opening do the Padres have? I'm not sure who the Pres is or if they have one.
October 20, 20169 yr QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Oct 20, 2016 -> 05:37 PM) They just fired their president a week or so ago Thanks. Preller and Williams would be an interesting dynamic.
October 21, 20169 yr QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Oct 20, 2016 -> 05:37 PM) They just fired their president a week or so ago If there is anything at all to the front office stuff, this is a great way to settle the issue.
October 21, 20169 yr The Cubs becoming a championship contender has ruined the Sox. Fans wont stick around for a rebuild or more BS seasons when there is a much better option miles away. This organization is at a dead end.
