4 and 5 picks being high schoolers could letterally be anyone in the 50 top ranked HS players... under slot deals to spend their pools on later drafts. As always, tomorrow's likely to get curazy!

Thanks "Caulfield," that's exactly what I wanted to see. It reaffirms my concerns over Kendall's extraordinarily high strike out rate.

Baseball America John Manuel has them picking Pavin Smith.

6pm central, MLB Network. Sox will pick around 7:10-7:15

 

75 picks tonight.

 

Rounds 3-10, Tuesday starting at noon.

 

Rounds 11-40, Wednesday.

I'd be kinda bummed with JB but recognize he's a pretty good pick we'd be somewhat fortunate to get.

Tribune quotes Hostetler as saying that he has a list of six players and only one is a pitcher.

I have no opinion, but in a vacuum, I hope they get a bat. But I won't criticize the pick tonight either way.

That's good news for those of us hoping they go positional. I won't be upset if one of the top arms falls to them, but it would be nice to come out of the 1st round with a positional talent.
