Probably a good scenario if Davis goes to Cubs since we haven't seen them connected to Robertson.

I was thinking the same. Let the Marlins sign Jansen and the Cubs get Davis. Best case for the Sox IMO.

Robertson's value now is lower than it's been for the past few years, so there's no point in selling low. Unless he morphs into Billy Koch, there will be a market for him by late July.

Makes sense. Yankees or Dodgers probably.

Watching MLB late last night and I believe they said Yankees have made offers to both Chapman and Jansen. Now just waiting to see what develops. Today will hopefully be a big day for Sox!

A potential dodgers-chisox deal could be bigger (Frazier, robertson) but LA's top targets r jansen, turner for closer, 3B

i could see them being moved to LA. people who don't think Robertson has value are crazy. once some of these other closer names come off the board, the market will be there for him. he's a quality closer and can get the job done for most teams.

I really think he is a great bounceback candidate. I think a decent amount of his problems last year were due to usage and injuries.

Several teams in need of a closer are keeping tabs on Wade Davis and David Robertson, but the trade market has been slower to develop.

Im guessing once the dominos starting falling for the free agents interest would pick up for Robertson

I think we probably would get more for him at the deadline, of course that is dependent on him not getting hurt, etc (and pitching really well). That said, you'd think once Chapman and Jensen go, we'd be in a better spot.

Yes, yes, yes!

But we already cleaned out their system lmao. So who do they have left that the Sox would want? Severino? Stevenson? Turner?

Roberston's market will heat up now that Chapman signed and Jansen is probably close. Best thing would be for Jansen to go to the Marlins.

We cleaned out some of their best prospects but yeah, as you've listed, there are more.

Quintana and Robertson for Turner and Severino

I will not rest until we get Trea Turner!!!!!

Jones should have really good value and I believe someone said as much (maybe Dave Cameron).

Still got your boy Robles too, but that's probably unrealistic.

Indeed.

WAS still has Kieboom as well.

One thing of note that I haven't seen mentioned yet is that Robertson does have a limited no trade clause in which he can block a trade to 5 different teams. One of which is the Dodgers. The others don't really matter (Tigers, A's, Mets, Phillies).

Unfu$%ingbelievable that Rizzo wasn't able to get Hahn to include Robertson in the Eaton trade.
