The latest Garfein podcast with Cooper is a good listen.

Probably the most interesting thing in here was that Nate Jones seems to be Coopers favorite for closer, and that he is supposed to be available for spring training.

I enjoyed hearing Cooper lay waste to this "good in the clubhouse" nonsense.

What do you expect from a guy from NYC? He is always crabby and hates everyone. :D

I have a request.

I can't view Twitter at work (where I view Soxtalk).

Can people copy/paste Twitter comments etc here, instead of just the link - please?

Sorry I will try to do this. When I post the link it's usually because I'm on a phone and it's easier.

Scott Merkin‏Verified account @scottmerkin 1m1 minute ago Great stuff from White Sox shortstop @TimAnderson7, who after a painful and challenging '17 and after a happy offseason dedicated to family is "hungry and excited about this season coming up." https://www.mlb.com/whitesox/news/white-sox-tim-anderson-eyes-successful-2018/c-265191198White …://https://www.mlb.com/whitesox/news/w...65191198White …

ESPN.com has Moustakas listed with White Sox as likely landing spot.

I'd be reluctant to spend huge cash on a guy heading into his 30s on a rebuilding team.

Especially, with the loss of a draft pick by signing him.

This can't be true. If it is, I hope our fans don't like the move. Time to be consistent here. If you don't wanna sign Abreu for age reasons and don't want Avi for concern about his remaining as good as last year, you certainly don't want Moustakas for age reasons and same thing, he could get fat at any time.

Also we already have Davidson who is unpopular I know, but also Burger who was supposed to be the 3B of the rebuilt WS era.

Per Hahn at media scrum, Rodon has been cleared to start throwing next week.

wow, that's a great update and perhaps lends more credence to the "minor" version of his shoulder surgery story the Sox are selling. Hell, if he's already starting his throwing program you'd think he's only a few weeks behind. Maybe a May debut?
