Just ran Todd Frazier's expected BABIP through a calculator and his xBABIP is .284. That would mean (assuming a similar split between types of hit, slightly weighted towards singles) a batting line of .264/.375/.546. That's a lot more of a valuable deadline piece than he looks now, simply attempting to remove luck.

For Frazier and Robertson, sure

If Kahnle is involved as well im not as excited about a depth package

I'm talking about 4 or 5 guys like that. Fowler was a top 100 prospect before his injury. Mateo was a type 50 guy a year ago. Andujar & Abreu are both in the 100 to 150 range. That's a ton of talent IMO and something the Yankees can do because of their depth.

Rutherford confirmed

The #Yankees are sending outfielder Blake Rutherford, their first-round pick in 2016, to the #WhiteSox as part of the deal.

Soxtalk needs to now down and start worshipping hahn if we get Rutherford ++ package

Don't know how I feel about a Rutherford headliner. It's coolfor a DRob or Frazier trade, but including Kahnle too?

Kahnle is the guy you hold until 11:50 on trade deadline night for absolute pillaging.

mateo not believed to be on list of prospects who'd go to chisox. CWS has shown interest in rutherford, clarkin, others.

The names are beginning to leak out...

Clarkin would make a ton of sense. I'll take that south paw.

But luck has nothing to do with Frazier's crappy approach and swing. And his BABIP has been under .240 for 1000 straight AB's. That's not luck, that's called a trend.
