Mateo is one of those prospects who sounds familiar, but I don't think he's on the top lists. could be wrong.

The league is just so flush right now with SS.

 

He was their top ss prospect prior to trading for Torres, and is clearly expendable.

They will wait towards the end of this game to announce it, I agree with the other posters here.

Lol, Torres was acquired for a bullpen arm. I'm not saying it's going to happen, but let's not use relievers being the reason why.

 

Not only that, but a RENTAL bullpen arm who the Yankees just so happened to re-sign.

The league is just so flush right now with SS.

I just checked Baseball America's list of top 100 prospects. Fathom is correct. Neither Andujar, or Mateo are on their list. Quite a divergence from MLB Pipeline.

All the national guys are acting like this deal is pretty much done
